No other like our sisterhood.

Eternally grateful for the memories, leadership, long nights, and love my chapter has gave me. To @etaxiakas, thank you for the lifelong friendships and sisters I can’t wait to call my bridesmaids someday. Thank you for instilling in me the importance of preserving the rich history of our beloved sisterhood. It’s a privilege to be surrounded by like-minded individuals, and grow into a woman of substance, grace, and class. For many are called, few are chosen. Alpha Kappa Alpha, I will always hold you close & dear to my heart. I gave my all to our chapter and I’d do it again for a lifetime.

My legacy starts here!

God, Gratitude & Glory.

Now that midterms are behind me, in just a couple of weeks I will be graduating from the University of Georgia as a first-generation college student. Nothing could have prepared me for the love, warmth, & passion this university welcomed me with. Was it easy? No, not at all. There were moments of doubt, setbacks, and failures that tested my faith and perseverance. But through every obstacle, I thank God for his unwavering faithfulness. I thank Him for carrying me, strengthening me, and covering me through the countless days and long nights that brought me to this moment. I’m grateful for every lesson, every challenge, & every opportunity to lead & serve on campus, at my hospital, and in the Athens community. Each of these experiences continue to shape me into the person I am becoming. As these final weeks approach, I’m holding the people I love even tighter & reflecting on all the memories and blessings this school has given me. UGA, there truly is nothing finer in the land.

Always set the standard, never settle for less.

One of the hardest but most rewarding seasons of my life. Making, crafting, shifting me into a better woman of Alpha Kappa Alpha, I couldn’t be more grateful.

To MY babies, C.O.D.E. X, I’m counting on y’all, I poured everything into you. Guiding you into AKALand was the greatest gift of all. Now I trust you to set the standard once again and show people how it’s done.
