🌱 From Service to Impact

On Saturday, I had the privilege of leading the YALI Network Lagos Cleanup and Tree-Planting Project in Spencer/Bornoway, Yaba, Lagos.

What began as a simple idea became a meaningful day of service, teamwork, environmental responsibility, and community action. Together, we cleaned parts of the community, cleared waste around disposal points, and planted a palm tree as a small but intentional contribution towards a cleaner and greener environment. 🌱

I am deeply grateful to YALI Network Lagos for the opportunity to serve, and to my amazing team for showing up, contributing, and working together to make the project a success.

Special appreciation to Hon. Oluwaseyi Akinwumi (Seyivity) for his generous support and partnership, and to everyone who contributed their time, resources, and energy.

This experience reminded me that leadership is not only about speaking about change—it is about showing up and doing the work.

One community. One team. One action at a time. 🌍💚

We Clean!
We Plant!!
We Change!!! 🌱🙌🏽

Just felt like sharing a few memories from my journey with YALI Network so far. From attending conferences and networking events at the U.S. Embassy, to meeting inspiring people, and having the privilege to lead our “Adopt a School” project impacting 150 students each experience has strengthened my vision for leadership and diplomacy.

There’s so much more ahead, and I’m excited to share the ideas, plans, and milestones that are already in motion.

This journey is only just beginning, and I can’t wait to take you all along with me. 🌍✨
