Oliver and Lilly’s love story was messy. Lies, secrets, betrayal you name it. More than a decade has passed since they were in the same state, let alone the same room. Now, Oliver is back in Kentucky to take back what the Blackstones stole from him and his family.

I didn’t know which side to pick throughout the entire book. Lol. I understood where both families went wrong, but I also understood some of the choices they made along the way.

I loved Oliver and Lilly together, even when they were at each other’s throats. Lol. The chemistry and tension between them seeped through the pages, and I couldn’t help but want them to find their way back to each other.

They were just teenagers when they first fell in love and made choices that would shape the next fifteen years of their lives. Now, they finally have the truth, even if it wasn’t pretty. As painful as it was, it was exactly what they needed to move forward and get to where they are now.

I’ve been obsessed with this family since The Bourbon Bet, and I’m so glad we finally got Lilly’s story!

Mistletoe All the Way

This was the perfect Christmas read! It felt like a Hallmark movie in book form. Lol.

Noah needs a plan to prove to his granddad that he is more fit to run the Christmas sleigh-ride farm after his retirement than his scheming cousin, Stephen. So he enters the town’s Mr. Holiday competition with the help of holiday enthusiast Eloise Langston.

I loved the main characters, but the side characters were just as amazing! There was the perfect balance of entertainment and romance, and I definitely won’t complain about the spice.

I can read holiday books year-round, and I ate this one up! Lol. If you’re looking for something cute and fun that gives all the Christmas vibes, you need to add it to your TBR ASAP!

Happy Release Day! 💕

Our buddy read for this book was filled with anticipation as we waited to get the ARC, followed by even more excitement to start. We all agreed it was an easy five star!! This series just keeps getting better!

There’s absolutely so much to love about this book, and we all experienced so many of the same feels and thoughts at similar moments.

Here are some lines we loved:

Chasing Smoke
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

WOW! I loved everything about this story! @authorpiperrayne did an amazing job bringing these characters to life. After losing her husband, Collins is not only still grieving, but also trying to figure out what her life looks like now and how to find her new normal. Seeing how much she’s still struggling, even almost two years later, Ansel takes matters into his own hands and helps her climb out of the hole of grief she’s been stuck in. Along the way, Ansel realizes he never really knew Collins the way he thought he did, and he starts seeing her in a whole new light.

I loved how the authors navigated grief and showed that moving forward doesn’t mean forgetting the life you had or the person you lost. Grief looks different for everybody, and it’s okay not to be okay. It’s also okay to move on and start living again. To find new meaning in life. To open yourself up to loving again.

This story is such a beautiful reminder that there’s still so much love and life after loss, even when you can’t imagine how you’ll ever keep going.
