Every individual emerges within the tension of their experiences, their surroundings, and their unrelenting search for understanding. This is how Vaert takes shape, the music project of Gianluca Accardi, whose journey began in Italy and has since found its roots in Spain.

Vaert is a sonic poet, blending melodic techno with hypnotic rhythms and deep emotion. His music moves between inner reflection and collective ecstasy, between contemplative depth and the pulsing energy of the dancefloor. Shaped by the cultural landscapes of his origins and his present, he has developed a distinct sonic signature through releases on Afterlife, work for the Rekids offshoot RSPX, and now Live at Robert Johnson.

The visual concept by Konstantin Fürchtegott Kipfmüller extends this approach by re-examining the relationship between perception, reduction, and meaning. His work is not understood as a mere illustration of the music, but as an independent space within the wider fabric of artistic circumstances. A state of visual clarity that emerges from within itself, follows its own internal logic, and requires no external resolution.

Written & Produced by Gianluca Alain Accardi. @_vaert

Performa returns to Macarena Club on September 30th.

Joining Vaert for the night is Gabriele Saccani, an Italian DJ recently relocated to Barcelona, opening the room with a stripped-back blend of electronic music, driven by minimal grooves, hypnotic rhythms and sharp percussion.

Vaert takes over from there, connecting different shades of house and techno into a constantly evolving flow. His recent releases on Live at Robert Johnson and RSPX via Rekids give a glimpse into that same territory.
