The birthplace of the US physical fitness boom: Muscle Beach 🏖️💪🏾

The Original Muscle Beach was established along Santa Monica Pier in the 1930s and embraced the frontrunners of gymnastics and fitness influence. Fast forward to 1987 and Muscle Beach Venice receives its official dedication to both honor the Original and welcome bodybuilders and powerlifting enthusiasts.

No matter which area you visit there is such a fascinating history to be experienced. This is a trip I’ve been wanting to make and I was ecstatic to walk in that pen and see it finally happen. Shoutout to the homies Ryan, Griffin, and Chris that came with me, and a huge thank you to my brothers Isaiah, Logan, and Jake and my Uncle Ray that keep me motivated to tap into my potential every time we pick up a dumbbell. And thank you Kai Wachi for the music that inspires me to go til failure. taken in Muscle Beach Venice Beach by @_van_quo_
