One day I was walking down the hallway, and I ran into Chef. William. I asked how service was upstairs and he said “come check us out some time” so I did, only to find my self Stajing for 1 day. By the time my day was over I got offered a position here at Addison.
I clearly didn’t know what I signed up for. I get to perform surgery on food on a gastronomic level. NO FREAKING WAY. I was in shock. I joined this team june 2022, with no culinary degree, just a drive to excel in this restaurant industry. However I did have my vices and if you have your priorities mixed up. You will get eaten alive by your own self destruction, and that’s what happened. I failed mentally, physically, and spiritually. From breaking my leg, or to taking a step back and seeking help from a constitution. I still got granted a position available here. Once the dust settled and I was right with myself truly putting my recovery and health first.I have came back stronger than ever. My first week is officially finished and I could not be more humbled and proud of my FREAKING self to make it back in this world with such mental clarity and peace in my heart to continue pushing everyday and uphold the 3 🌟 🌟🌟 to its highest level of excellence within the restaurant and within my self. #allinallthetime taken in Addison Restaurant by @_vegaabundo

This ISNT about new resolutions.
It’s about honoring the ones I made when no one was watching.

The promises and prayer whispered in the dark.
The ones made when surviving felt like the only victory.

It feels like the home stretch
but I know better.
The work doesn’t end here.
It sharpens.

This is for the mornings when getting out of bed felt impossible.
For the nights where isolation felt safer than connection.
For the days depression parked itself in my heart
and convinced me stillness was all I was worthy of.
For the moments where giving up felt logical and comfortable.

I’ve shed versions of myself I had to outgrow.
I’ve rebuilt from pieces that once broke me.
Through discipline.
Through stillness.
Through choosing presence over escape
again and again.

I say yes to what’s ahead.
I won’t run from suffering anymore.
I sit with it.
Acknowledge them.
I learn from it.
I respect the pain that carved me into who I’m becoming.

Every emotion has a purpose.
Every scar has a story.

This is for the ones who feel deeply in a world that tells them not to or encourage them to do things in moderation.

To anyone on the edge:
This is your reminder to do the hard sh*t.
Even when it’s lonely.
Especially when it’s lonely.
I’ve lost friends.
I’ve lost family.
I’ve lost myself more than once.

But I found something stronger in the process,

a mindset that refuses complacency,
that rejects comfort as a ceiling,
that chooses growth as a responsibility.
This isn’t motivation.
This is commitment.

This is my relentless pursuit.

𝔗𝔥𝔦𝔰 𝔦𝔰 𝔬𝔲𝔯 ℜ𝔢𝔩𝔢𝔫𝔱𝔩𝔢𝔰𝔰 𝔓𝔲𝔯𝔰𝔲𝔦𝔱

What makes you the best version of yourself??

Something we ask ourselves on the daily.
Multiple times throughout the day.
From Dusk til Dawn

We train physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually, for longevity.
But what is our purpose??

This isn’t just about fitness, it’s a lifestyle, from the moment you wake up to the moment you lay your head. EVERYTHING we do is imperative! It’s about learning, through mistake, from the right’s as well as the wrongs.

This video encapsulates anger, chaos, noise, harmony, cadence, passion and grit.

& a reminder to self, that I never have to live the way I used to. Things won’t ever change by chance, it requires change.

Thank You@b21.visuals for bringing it all together.
Much respect brother 🫡‼️

Surgery was rough, healing time was rougher.

After having to restart my entire routine and training program, it’s been mentally challenging.

This race wasn’t supposed to happen.
Signed up 3 days before race day, still sick and weary of my body’s limits.

final time of 2:25 minutes was definitely my “worse” time, internally I won this race for myself.

This next version of self will be nothing short but Relentless, this is my pursuit 🦾🌌

Thank you @alivewithzahra for being a critical piece in my recovery, training blocks, and a partner. Couldn’t have done this with out you❤️

Half marathon #4 of the year. 🥹

We’ve both been sick, barely trained, and came into this one with zero expectations other than to show up and make the best of it.

Somewhere in the middle I definitely questioned why the hell I keep doing this 😂 but I knew I’d be grateful when I crossed that finish line.

And I was.

Your best looks different every season. Show up for all of them. 🤍

Your leg day is missing movement.

Building muscle and getting stronger will always be important, but if your lower body training only consists of moving forward and backward, you’re missing an opportunity to become a more capable athlete.

This workout blends heavy strength, unilateral stability, lateral movement, balance, and coordination so you’re not just building bigger muscles, you’re building a body that can produce force, control force, and move confidently in multiple directions.

🧷 Give this lower body session a try!

Hip Thrust: 4 sets x 8-10 reps
Alternating Zercher Curtsy Lunge: 3 sets x 8 reps per leg
B-Stance Leg Press: 3 sets x 10-12 reps per leg
8-8-8 Hamstring Curl: 3 rounds x 8 heavy reps, 8 moderate reps, 8 easy reps
Lateral Sled Pull: 3 sets x 20-30 feet per side
Step-Up Into High Knee: 3 sets x 8-10 reps per leg

You don’t have to choose between training for strength and training for movement. The strongest, most capable bodies develop both.

‼️ If you’re ready to build strength on a foundation of better movement, stability, mobility, and body control, my Foundation Reset was created for exactly that. It’s an 8-week program designed to help you move better first, so you can continue getting stronger with confidence.

🎉 The Foundation Reset sale is still live, but only for a limited time. Check the link in my bio before the discount ends.

Which exercise are you adding to your next lower body workout?

One mile at a time.
The dust has settled,

I’ve had time to reflect on what my body experienced.

Starting at 3:34 a.m. and covered 37.88 miles.
The aftermath hit harder than I expected. My lungs felt overworked, pain in my chest and head, my back and arms felt like I’d spent days in the freaking gym, and for nearly a week I felt completely drained.

I remind myself that I need time to heal and recover.
I don’t have to be at the gym the next day, or meet someone’s expectation, look like a type. I don’t have to be the biggest or the fastest. I simply have to be the best version of myself.
Not compared to others,
but compared to who I was yesterday.

I look up to runners who take on 100- 300 mile races and ask myself, Why can’t I?

The truth is Fear and uncertainty,
I don’t know if I’ll ever sign up for one of those races. Right now, they seem impossible.

But six months ago, running 37.88 miles in 7 hours and 39 minutes seemed impossible too.
So cheers to the unknown, we’ll see where this journey takes me!

There comes a point when you’re sick of being sick. When you’re tired of swimming upstream against your own life.

I wouldn’t be here without my support system, my peers, my family, and the lessons I learned through recovery. Everything I was taught about showing up, staying accountable, and taking life one day at a time carried me through every mile.

These days I’d rather chase finish lines than escape reality.

My lungs hurt, my body is sore.
The body takes a freaking beating
Looking back at these videos, it makes it all worth it.
I’d do it over again and again.

@alivewithzahra seeing you at the end made me push so much harder and finish strong.

@husamthegymfreak seeing you at mile 26 was a breath of fresh air. And pure joy. You brought my spirits up because things were hurting lol.

In a world where time is simply a construct, moments like these live forever!

3:34 AM.

The start line with Zahra and Adams Run Club felt eclectic yet crazy. We knew the destination, and we knew we’d finish. What we didn’t know was the price we’d have to pay along the way.

Over the course of 7 hours and 39 minutes, I covered 37.88 miles.

The heat was relentless around mile 31. The hills were unforgiving. I fueled as much as I could, but eventually it became less about physical preparation and more about mental endurance.

At one point, I felt like I was floating. I blocked out pain, quieted the doubt, and kept talking myself through every difficult moment. One step. One mile. One more push.

A huge thank you to everyone who carried me through this journey.
My mom for showing up at mile 26, my babe @alivewithzahra ,@husamthegymfreak , @ciscopinzonfit , @bica_sd , @adamsrclub , @theyardgym_normalheights and all the incredible people I crossed paths with along the course. Every word of encouragement mattered more than you know❤️

I’ve never run a marathon before, and somehow I ended up running even farther.

This wasn’t about distance. It wasn’t about pace, It was about pushing barriers. It was about enduring when everything in me wanted to stop. It was about finding peace in the middle of chaos when my world felt like it wanted to crash and burn.

What a beautiful day filled with highs, lows, suffering, gratitude, and pure grit.

37.88 miles later, I’m reminded that we’re capable of so much more than we think.

Las Vegas was always the destination…
but how we got there, that’s where everything was built.

Somewhere between Santa Monica and the desert, it stopped being just a run. It became a test. A proving ground.

We adapted. We connected. We pushed through.
Brutal heat. 40 MPH winds. A mountainside fire we had to outrun.
The desert doesn’t care who you are, it strips you down piece by piece. Skin, muscle, mindset.

And when it’s over… you’re left with one question:
who do you choose to be in the aftermath?
Crewing alongside @jess__hoff, @dani_bobanii, & @luismartinezainslie was equal parts chaos, laughter, and just the right amount of delusion.

And our runners from @adamsrclub … different breed. Truly a unit.
Grateful for everyone who made this possible
@bica_sd @oakley @strivesoda @lululemon
We didn’t get there without you.
This wasn’t just miles covered…
this was something earned.

This wasn’t about the workout.
Not about how I look, how fast I move, or how strong I am.

We’re about to run from Santa Monica to Vegas… and that kind of journey demands something deeper.
Not surface-level motivation. Not hype.
A fire.

Because this isn’t just my race.
It’s our journey.

Two years with ASRV… and honestly, I loved every second of it.
What started as just being part of a brand turned into something way deeper. I became a full-on fabric geek, learned how to lean into discomfort, and opened doors within myself I didn’t even know existed. Somewhere along the way, I ran my first half marathon… going on a full this year.
I guess I became a runner or maybe I just tapped into that version of myself that was always there.
More than anything, it was the people.

This team taught me so much about discipline, mindset, and showing up for yourself every day.
I’ve always believed in only representing what truly aligns with me, and @asrv has always been that brand. I’m grateful to have been part of their journey, just as much as they’ve been part of mine.
Joel, thank you for believing in me and for the lessons you’ve passed down.

Not just in athleticism, but in life. Truly grateful.
This isn’t the end, just the start of a new chapter
