A little sneak peek into prepping for my weekly self massage/ stretching class 🧘

One part I love about working in the spa that clients don’t get to see is prepping! The materials always smell and look so gorgeous so I thought I would make a little ASMR to share with y’all today. ( ˘ω˘ )

the body treatment I’m prepping for starts with applying the featured soak, then full body exfoliation, hot towels, and applying a tonifying serum. Then, the client is burrito’ed up 🌯 in a thermal wrap and receives a head, neck, and face massage while the product soaks into the skin. We finish with a nutrient dense body butter and they are all set! 🌟 taken in Spa Stella Maris by @_vicecream_

Our time in Utah has come to a close. I am so grateful for all the people opportunities and growth that I had the chance to meet there. I’m sorry for not knowing how to say goodbye. From the people to the magpies to the mountains you all have a place in my heart.
Looking on to the horizon, we have moved to Roanoke VA and are starting a new chapter here. There’s a coming home feeling to being in the Appalachians again, the humid atmosphere clings to my skin like an embrace, I’ve missed it dearly. At the same time there’s a newness and strangeness. I am excited to see what life brings in this next chapter 💚🌿🐛 by @_vicecream_

1st week of massage school (January 2019) vs 1st week RUNNINGG/ teaching a massage school (January 2024). I can hardly BELIEVE the day has finally come, or that I ended up with such an amazing opportunity to create a school around one of my biggest passions. I absolutely could not have done it without the support of my Lover, bless him. There has definitely been moments of self doubt but that you to everyone around me for the encouragement and belief in me! The last slide is a vision board I made for a project my first day of massage school so long ago, I think it has come to fruition in ways I couldn’t imagine! ✨🌄🌈 by @_vicecream_

Descending into the dark half of the year,, this time always opens up a lot for me 🌘🌑🌒

Also, I’ve finally decided on the name my LLC will be (my business for massage therapy, hypnotherapy, herbalism and other healing practices)
Lion’s Heart Vitality and Wellness. I’m so excited to start the journey with it, though it will be after I leave utah when I really start building it :) by @_vicecream_

It always feels good to return to the hills. I was trying to explain this feeling of connection I have to the animals plants trees and creeks and dad put it simply- I’m native to this ecosystem. It was great seeing all the family and friends I could fit in a few days, I’ll have to catch the rest of y’all next time :) now back to the high desert for now🌄 taken in Love Valley, North Carolina by @_vicecream_
