As I walk into the next decade of life, I am joyful, hopeful and eager to watch the seeds of my 20s grow into fruit that God’s always had planned to come through me — but in its proper time.

Today was for taking things slow. Behind the ink of each darkened circle of my ballot lay a person, a loved one, a relative, an ancestor whose greatest desire was to elect someone who would think of them, without penalty for doing so. I’m proud to have exercised my right, if nothing else for them. 🤍

Transparency moment: God told me at 15 that working cameras will help me in the long run. I did it out of obedience not necessarily whato wanted; 10+ years unpaid, for my home church, with some people that now are full time videographers. Learned some things, know some things, iykyk …God gets the glory

30 Day Creative Challenge complete. ✔️ I challenged myself to create something for 30 days, completed or not – perfect or not, just create.

I was quickly reminded why I love art so much. It releases the need for perfection while still being interpretative and beautiful.

Maybe, I’ll start posting in feed more often. ✨
