Welcome to @_viewfromthetop I'm here to share my #adventure experiences, to express my love for the beauty that #nature provides, and maybe to inspire others to go out of their comfort zone where you often find life's greatest rewards...

#Maine may be the most beautiful state I've seen to date, inside of parks and out..

Adirondack splendor.

I was able to squeeze a trip in to visit a friend in Saratoga Springs the first weekend in October. We shot up to Lake Placid to ride in the area and watch the downhill world cup finals that Sunday. I broke a part on my bike, which is why I decided to go for a hike on my way out of Placid, and boy was it worth it. Conditions must have been perfect early this fall as the colors were truly awesome. Its hard to head back down when you have views like these. Never been so happy to break my bike!

It's been a while friends. Sometimes life gets busy enough to pull you away from the things you love to do. I'm looking forward to sharing more here again as I get more miles under foot. I was lucky enough to get two consecutive weekends in peak/ near peak foliage conditions. This photo is from Kaaterskill falls earlier today!

Cathedral Rock of Sedona, just a few weeks ago. This was our way of warming up for the grand canyon which we headed up to the next day. The trail was pretty crowded, but the scrambles were fun and the red landscape was breathtaking. Ive never seen any red rocks, and only the deserts of texas (being from the northeast) so this was especially alien for me.

How do you choose a single day that you call the best of your life? A question I haven't had an answer for, until now. No matter what your expectations could be, this place will leave you feeling inspired, awestruck, humbled, and small.. very small.

A bright red #moonrise while camping in hither hills state park last year. Again this is just my phone camera, no filters added or brightness adjusted to see the stars. Waking up behind the dunes on the beach is just part of the Montauk vibe.
