I haven’t been able to find the words. Maybe because this makes it real and my brain and heart aren’t ready for it to be. My heart is broken but my mind is so angry. I never would’ve thought that anytime soon would have been time without you. I feel like I’m stuck in a fog. I’m here but my mind is replaying all my memories with you. I can’t get your laugh out my head. I can still see your smile. Us being little telling Dart to chill out when he was annoying us lol. Double dating for 8th grade prom. You forcing me to do your hair knowing damn well I hated doing hair. 9/11 when your mom and my mom checked us out early and we had to go to your house. Holidays, family functions and just causes. You helping me move even though you showed up 3/4 hours late. As a matter of fact you were NEVER ON TIME. And some might say we have that in common but I’m going to say you for damn sure had me beat. You would always say I’m 30 min away knowing damn well you were 2 hours away. But you were always there when I needed you. I’m so angry it hurts. It’s like now your frozen in time. Calling your phone hoping you pick up even though I know your not going to answer but praying that you do. Telling you to be careful in that car. We were suppose to have more chapters to fill more family events to attend. More times you were pulling up on me. More times I’m cursing you out and you saying “ I know I know”. I guess in my mind there was no end. It’s like we are in a video game and your stuck on level 5 and I get to keep passing the levels. Your frozen in time now and I’m so angry. Im stuck between hurt and anger. I just knew we were going to be our parents kicking it in the backyard Vibing with music, family and food. I know you fought to stay but it’s not changing the hurt. I’m so hurt man. I’m trying to function pass the pain but it’s hard! I feel like I have more memories than photos. I’m so proud to call you my cousin! It wasn’t enough time! I love you beyond words.
