Thank you dearests @antoniomansopreto and @buildgreene_ for sharing your writing in front of my mural slash stage slash screen slash dream. Absence and desire that’s all there is! In no particular order: pencil sharpeners, overhead projector, my glasses on a silver tray (post St Lucia), Eduardo Chillida “Lugar de Encuentros” (1976), Amstel impossible architecture (parkour park), the remains of Rembrandt’s burnt anatomy lesson (impossible composition), the evacuation del Museo del Prado (found footage in El Rastro), dead Verdi, Cam and the dog that bites while swimming, burnt kettle in Stockholm, “I Paint What I Want to See” installed on the wall, taps and containers, Maria Blanchard “La Boulonnaise” (1923), glimpses of light. First time using mixed media in a wall drawing, 7m x 3,7 m
Thank you @thegreyspaceinthemiddle for hosting and @jorisvdeinden for the exhibition pics 🙏 by @_vives_

your over-achiver-natural-drop-out is starting to feel mournful&thrilled; what a wild thing to say goodbye to my first solo show! I'll do another iteration of my drum-poems performance on the 5th of April for East Lisbon Art Day, hope to see u there (I need you).

Exhibition views of Drummer (# 1 - # 10) a series of lithographies and mixed media collages and drawings reimagining covers of Drummer magazine, a leather gay publication from the 1970s, blending anachronic elements like Derek Jarman’s cottage, a shark-shaped Hot Wheels, gaming chairs, pierced ID cards, drilled USBs into snares, music notation, screenshots from my body of work and from artists I admire. Here are a few close-ups from my favorites today <3
