The Guitar Center across the street from Berklee closed today. I wanted to make a little video memorializing it. It's not the hugest deal in the world, but it does make me sad to see a cool place shut down. Hope you enjoy this film. by @_weback_

At the end of every semester I go to a piano room and fully improv some piano. Nice cleanse for me to reflect. It’s a tradition at this point. I like how this one turned out. There’s some mistakes but that’s what happens when you freely improvise. Hope you enjoy! Happy holidays. Also I am 21 now happy birthday 🎉 by @_weback_

Over the past few months I’ve started to get into using my camera to take pictures and videos. More so than usual. Why? This is my manifesto for video creation. There’s kinda a bit of irony since you have to read it to get it. I’m not denouncing reading as a medium of storytelling, I’m just saying that video is a more modern/advanced method for passing info to people. I tried doing a voice-over for the text, but it didn’t feel right. Hope you enjoy! I’ve got a few different video projects planned for the future. Go watch the video where I go bald if you want an example of what I’m talking about. That’s the kind of stuff I’m going to make. by @_weback_

Check out this epic piano solo I ripped for @asmidasgupta ‘s recital tonight. Had lots of fun playing for this. Had a last minute idea to get my own piano hands camera angle of this part where I solo as a transition between songs. Hope you enjoy :) by @_weback_

Here it is. The end of the semester improv. I have made a tradition out of catching the nice 160 mass ave pianos right on the final day of the semester to just play whatever comes to me in the moment. I think this one is my favorite out of the ones I’ve done so far. This is the last thing I played on Berklee pianos before entering my 5th semester. It’s crazy that I’ve made it this far at Berklee but I’m so glad I have. I’ve enjoyed the entire journey so far, and I’m glad that it’s not over just yet. I’ve grown so much, but there is also so much room left to grow. Enjoy! by @_weback_

Each semester at Berklee before I go, on the last day, I always make sure to stop by one of the nice 160 pianos while no one is there to play some improv. I have that video coming up later after this post, but this post is actually some Debussy. “The girl with flaxen hair” or something like that. I felt like playing this because I really like this composer and I played this for my proficiency final exam. It really resonates with me on an emotional level. Hope you enjoy! by @_weback_
