Today is your 58th birthday. And it’s also 5 months since you’ve passed. I miss you more than ever dad. I miss all the jokes you would say at random times to make my day. I miss the weekends where we would work on the barn at home and wouldn’t stop until the sun went down. I miss going to work with you out-of-town and staying in hotels together. I miss telling you how school was going and hearing your words of encouragement and support. You were the one who taught me how to work for what you wanted and never give less than 100%. You taught me so many hard skills that I am slowly remembering as I do things in your barn. You are the man I look up, and to this day, will always strive to be the man and father you were to me. So many friends, family, and mentors that aren’t included in this post, but I am very thankful for each and every one of you. Without you, I wouldn’t be where I am today. Graduation was delayed an hour this morning (and probably again) because of rain, so why not post these cool looking photos while we get ready 🫣
