"She seems fine now"

"Fine now" —

2 am wake ups, almost nightly.
A round of breathing checks for everyone.
Sometimes 2-3 times a night.
Racing mind.
Don't think about it.
It's almost October.
Flashback.
Stop. Think about something fun.
Fun? Your baby died.
Go to sleep. Go to sleep.
How has it been almost 8 years?
I can't remember what I buried him with.
How could I forget something like that?
I need EMDR therapy.
Liam needs therapy for his anxiety.
Will I ever be "normal?"
I miss him. I miss my old life. Where I was effortlessly happy.
It's 6am. Alarm goes off in 30 mins.

Good morning guys *smile*, what do you want for breakfast?!

Always, "fine." 💔❤️‍🩹
