I found my love for you in 9th grade when you graciously sat beside me in the choir hall. Your voice was the sum of all the best songs i’d heard. Your beauty greater than the work of any artist. I didn’t believe you were real. I yearned for you, thinking a day like today would and could never come.

Through the years we’ve driven through a great multitude of twists, turns, speed bumps, potholes, etc. However, it is truly the grace of God that, in his sovereignty, our roads aligned all the same.

I’ll love you with all of my heart until it beats no longer. You are the only one for me.

Everywhere I turn I see profound evidence that I serve a good God!

Through the trial, the storm, the heartache, the strife; joy is counted in abundance. He is good, He is the most wise, He’s the best at having my best interest.

Thank you Jesus for walking out of the grave.

2025

Where do I start. Certainly the most transformative year of my life. I’m confident that I walked into this year with salvation. However I certainly did not walk into this year with the evidence of Christ being the center of my heart. It was closer to the opposite. I was out of fellowship. Running from Christ. Chasing the world; money, ego, success, popularity, acknowledgment, lust. I was the prodigal son who found himself far from home and hesitant to run back home. To my Father. Jesus.

This disconnect from the Father and running from Christ came to a culmination towards the end of July. I had finally had enough of it. I couldn’t stomach it any longer. I promised myself that when I went to MSU, I would let the potter at long last mold the clay and not let my preferences change the outcome of that.

As a result of this rekindling I began to see the Lord work a great deal in my heart and truly bring up a change in me that I had never seen previously. Praise the Lord!! I began to fall in love with Jesus again, with serving, with prayer, with the word. Everything had fallen back into place, but even better than it was before.

As I go into 2026. I wanted to recognize and for everyone reading this to recognize the true transformative power that God has. He can truly do anything. Nothing is too big for God, Nothing is too small, His arm has not been shortened, His grace is sufficient. Jesus loves you!! He bought you with His blood, so that He could have relationship with you for eternity! by @_wyattd

I surrendered to the call of ministry just over a month ago on 10/14/25! Tonight I had the privilege of preaching my first sermon to the youth group at Sylva Rena Baptist. I’m incredibly grateful the Lord has given me the opportunity to be used to advance His kingdom. Praise the Lord! by @_wyattd
