藝術家書籍作品《界行者的種植計畫 The Borderwalker : A Planting Initiative》是近期正在預熱的一個項目，透過去年至今在各種展間場域中打磨，這次在《亞熱帶訊號：台灣當代影像生產》聯展中迎來了不一樣的樣貌。

在與策展人傅爾得 @joannafu 討論後，決定將長750公分的捲軸書黏貼至 DECK @deck_sg 通往一樓至二樓的旋轉樓梯上，使觀眾隨著上、下樓的步伐，一階一階走向作品的起點與終點，起點也即是終點。使「一本書即是一條街」的概念，展現並融入於身體「行走」的過程中。

作品的每次轉變與呈現，打開了不同的身體感與再經驗的可能，感謝策展團隊及DECK主理人 @gwenleegimlay 對於想法的肯定、支持與落地。

本展以攝影書與藝術家書籍（Artists’ Books）作為創作與策展的核心實踐，將攝影書視為一種完整而開放的藝術媒介。影像不只是被觀看的內容，更透過翻閱、停留與回返，形成時間、空間與身體感知之間的關係，使閱讀成為一種具有節奏與儀式性的經驗。

自2016年起，策展人持續透過展覽、工作坊與出版實踐，探索影像如何跳脫牆面展示，進入更親密、可被觸碰與閱讀的狀態。從早期以手工攝影書與藝術家書為核心的創作，到近年多場以攝影書作為展覽空間本身的策劃經驗，逐步建立出一種將「書」視為創作場域的方法。攝影書在此不只是作品形式，更是一種持續生成中的思考與實踐過程。

「Across the Binding」作為2025年香港攝影小誌及樣本書獎的台灣首站巡迴展，並邀請四位台灣創作者——楊佳馨、黃于恩、李雨軒、楊承運共同參與，從觀看機制、家的記憶、返家的身體經驗，以及跨國遷徙等不同面向出發，與香港得獎及入圍作品形成一種橫向閱讀的關係。

Across the Binding 所指涉的，不只是跨越裝訂線的物理行為，更是一場跨越地域、媒介與感知方式的閱讀練習。觀者得以依循自身節奏翻閱、停留與回看，在閱讀之中重新意識到：觀看本身，即是一種參與。

在《金屬遊歷 Metal Odyssey》展覽中，作品《08773545》帶領觀眾一同體會「覆寫（re-covery）」的概念，以及在「書寫」行動中所產生的照護關係。透過身體檔案、文字與紀錄性影像，作品縫補出照顧者與被照顧者之間，細膩而深沉的情感紋理。

並且在藝術家的作品之間，我們設置了「公眾互動展示區」，期望讓更多觀眾對身體經驗的感受與關注，能以「再次書寫」的方式，在現場達到更廣闊的敘事場域。

《金屬遊歷 Metal Odyssey》以及「公眾互動展示區」至今已歷經三次展出——2024 年於「集美·阿爾勒國際攝影季」的方案呈現、今年四月於北京三影堂的全新展開，以及目前正在發生的2025年「集美·阿爾勒國際攝影季」巡迴展站。在本次展場中，我們將持續邀請更多觀眾書寫下你／妳的生命故事、身體經驗，或是虛構的敘事篇章，讓這些文字在展覽中交織出共感回應。

在 2024 至 25 年間，我們獲得三影堂攝影藝術中心與品牌方香奈兒的全力支持與肯定。衷心感謝這段一路「遊歷」所帶來的震動與回響。《金屬遊歷 Metal Odyssey》展期持續至 2026 年 1 月 4 日，邀請大家前往廈門三影堂，親身走入這場關於身體經驗、疾病記憶與書寫的旅程。

在廈門三影堂攝影藝術中心與大家一連導覽三日，心中充滿感謝。能再次見證新一季「集美·阿爾勒國際攝影季」盛大開幕，而《金屬遊歷 Metal Odyssey》策展項目也迎來了巡迴最終站。

我始終珍惜每次與觀眾交流的機會——在導覽現場，感受自己正在感受的，表達、關懷彼此並細緻地傾聽，是我最重視的事。

在導覽時，有位觀眾分享了他從今年四月在北京三影堂看著我們發表作品，一路追隨展覽至今的深刻體悟。他說：「當時，我還未真正領會《金屬遊歷》所承載的重量，直到近期就醫時，我才真實感受這個展覽所訴說的一切。」

隔日他再次來到展廳並仔細閱讀「公眾互動展示區」中，大家對疾病的想像與書寫。那一刻，我再次意識到——「承接」每一個故事與每一個人的經驗、情緒——正是這趟旅程裡我最深層的體會。

願大家允許任何事發生，感受每刻湧動。

展覽持續至 2026 年 1 月 4 日，歡迎大家前往廈門三影堂參觀。

【JIMEI x ARLES CURATORIAL AWARD FOR PHOTOGRAPHY AND MOVING IMAGE】𝑴𝒆𝒕𝒂𝒍 𝑶𝒅𝒚𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒚

Jimei × Arles “Curatorial Award for Photography and Moving Image” is co-launched by Three Shadows and CHANEL in 2021, aiming to support young creative forces in photography and moving image art, discover and nurture outstanding young Chinese curators and researchers. Metal Odyssey, the winning proposal of the 4th edition, curated by Yi-Ning Lin (Michelle) and Chia-Shin Yang, was announced as the winner in December 2024, after which it entered the exhibition implementation stage with the support of the award. The outcome made its debut at the Three Shadows Photography Art Centre in Beijing this spring, followed by a conversation at the 2025 Kyotographie International Photography Festival. Metal Odyssey employs "metal" as a symbol of the medical instruments associated with patients and their families. Through the works of Jess Ching-Wa Lau and Chia-Shin Yang, the exhibition delves into trauma and the memories shaped by significant life events. The tour to Jimei × Arles will continue the exploration, narration, and dialogue between the artists and the audience regarding individual experiences of life. Metal Odyssey invites the audiences to set into the role of the subject in the “examination room,” where they are encouraged to “schedule” and “review” their own records (appointments), while also engaging with others’ stories and writing their own. Combining photography, moving image, and installation, the exhibition unfolds a difficult yet courageous journey, revealing how art and reality intertwine within the body’s archives, shimmering with a metallic sheen.
