Bergen (Belgin Sarılmışer) 15 Temmuz 1959’da Mersin’de doğdu. Küçük yaşta annesiyle Ankara’ya taşındı. Ankara Devlet Konservatuvarı’nda eğitim aldı; klasik müzik temelli bir eğitimi vardı ama kaderi arabeskle kesişti. Bir süre pavyonlarda sahne aldı; güçlü sesi ve duyguyu doğrudan geçiren yorumu kısa sürede dikkat çekti.

1980’lerde arabesk müziğin en önemli kadın seslerinden biri oldu. “Acıların Kadını” lakabı, hem şarkılarının temasından hem de yaşadıklarından geldi. “Sen Affetsen”, “Acıların Kadını”, “Benim İçin Üzülme” gibi eserlerle çok geniş bir dinleyici kitlesine ulaştı.

Özel hayatında ise şiddet gördü. Eski eşi tarafından ağır saldırılara maruz kaldı; bu olaylardan biri gözünü kaybetmesine neden oldu. Buna rağmen sahneye dönüp üretmeye devam etti; bu da onu birçok kişi için direniş ve dayanıklılık sembolü haline getirdi.

Bergen, 14 Ağustos 1989’da Adana’da hayatını kaybetti. Henüz 30 yaşındaydı. Ardında çok güçlü bir müzik mirası ve toplumsal hafızada derin bir iz bıraktı.

İlber Ortaylı, 21 Mayıs 1947’de Avusturya’nın Bregenz şehrinde doğdu. Ailesi Kırım Tatarı kökenlidir ve II. Dünya Savaşı’ndan sonra Türkiye’ye göç etmiştir. Çocukluk yıllarının bir kısmını Ankara’da geçiren Ortaylı, ortaöğrenimini tamamladıktan sonra Ankara Atatürk Lisesi’nden mezun oldu. Daha sonra Ankara Üniversitesi Siyasal Bilgiler Fakültesi’nde eğitim aldı ve aynı zamanda Ankara Üniversitesi Dil ve Tarih-Coğrafya Fakültesi’nde de tarih eğitimi gördü. Akademik kariyerine yönelen Ortaylı, yüksek lisans ve doktora çalışmalarını tamamladıktan sonra 1970’li yıllarda Ankara Üniversitesi’nde asistan olarak çalışmaya başladı.
Daha sonra yurt dışında da araştırmalar yaptı ve özellikle Osmanlı tarihi üzerine çalışmalarıyla tanındı. 1980’li yıllarda profesör oldu ve Türkiye’de birçok
üniversitede ders verdi. En bilinen eserleri arasında İmparatorluğun En Uzun Yüzyılı, Türklerin Tarihi ve Bir Ömür Nasıl Yaşanır? bulunmaktadır.
Hayatının son yıllarında da çalışmalarını sürdüren İlber Ortaylı, 13 Mart 2026’da İstanbul’da 78 yaşında hayatını kaybetti. Osmanlı ve Türk tarihi üzerine yaptığı araştırmalarla Türkiye’nin en önemli tarihçilerinden biri olarak kabul edilmektedir.
Akademik kariyerinin yanı sıra, 2005–2012 yılları arasında Topkapı Sarayı Müzesi Başkanlığı görevini yürütmüştür. Bu dönemde müzenin çehresini değiştiren, restorasyon süreçlerine öncülük eden ve müzenin halk nezdinde daha bilinir hale gelmesini sağlayan önemli çalışmalar yapmıştır.

Kalabalığın ortasında aniden gelen panik atak, kişinin dış dünyadan çok iç dünyasında yaşadığı bir alarm durumudur. Ortam güvenli olsa bile, beden “tehlikedesin” sinyali verir. Kalp hızlanır, nefes daralır, baş dönmesi, terleme ve kontrolü kaybetme hissi ortaya çıkabilir. Bu yoğunluk, çoğu zaman kişinin bulunduğu yerden kaçma isteğini tetikler.

Psikolojik açıdan bakıldığında bu durum, zihnin olasılıkları tehdit olarak yorumlamasıyla ilgilidir. Kalabalık; kaçamama, sıkışma ya da kontrolü yitirme korkularını sembolik olarak harekete geçirebilir. Kişi “ya bayılırsam”, “ya rezil olursam” gibi düşüncelerle kendi kaygısını büyütür. Oysa panik atak, rahatsız edici olsa da zararlı değildir ve geçicidir.

Bu anlarda en önemli şey, yaşananın bir panik atağı olduğunu fark etmek ve bedeni sakinleştirmeye yönelmektir. Yavaş ve derin nefes almak, dikkati dış dünyadaki somut şeylere yönlendirmek (örneğin etrafta görülen 5 nesneyi saymak), kişinin kontrol hissini yeniden kazanmasına yardımcı olur. Kaçmak yerine, mümkünse o anın içinde kalabilmek, beynin “bu durum tehlikeli değil” şeklinde yeniden öğrenmesini sağlar.

Panik ataklar çoğu zaman bir zayıflık değil; bastırılmış stresin, kaygının ve zihinsel yükün dışa vurumudur. Anlaşılması ve üzerine çalışılması gereken bir sinyaldir.
