☀️ getting ready for the Xmas Market at Karlsplatz
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
As I slowly move in to the new studio I have found a crazy amount of old pieces that have been locked in a drawer for years. Probably waiting for me to get a shop to be like “let me out I want a new family!”
With new beginnings in the spacial sense I think it is only fair to let go of those old physical pieces to make space to all the new creations that will happen in the studio.

The shop is FAR from finished and it kind of looks like a construction site. But there is a floor and a door so I thought I can still invite you all for a little sale.

You will find a “pay as you wish” box

As well as a “oops I did it again” area with pieces that broke because of my clumsiness and just needed a bit of super glue to be whole again

As well as pieces with glaze samples or order samples that didn’t make the cut.

I will also launch a few new small vases that I designed and developed during the summer and will have them priced lower than when I officially launch them after the old + new ceramics sale.

After this sale I will be locking myself in the studio and go production crazy to prepare for the xmas market at Karlsplatz that starts mid November this year.
This means the shop will open officially on April 2027
Until then I’m happy to welcome you to the preview of the space that my work will call home for the future to come

The year is more than halfway through, a lot has happened behind the scenes and a lot keeps happening.
I'm very grateful for my line of work and sometimes I forget to look back at everything I have accomplished.
As I pack my studio up and get ready for a new beginning with new energies, can't help but look back at some things I have done throughout this year.

Here is a compilation of some of my favorite works that I have created this year. Lots of wild clay experiments and new designs, just touching the surface of the direction I want my practice and my work to go.

Slow down, get your hands a little messy, and fall in love with clay. ✨

In this cozy Nerikomi Ceramic Workshop in Vienna, you’ll explore the ancient Japanese layering technique where colored clays come together to create naturally beautiful patterns from within the material itself. No painting, no glazing tricks - just pure clay magic.

Together with ceramic artist Yvonne Rausch, you’ll create two unique handmade plates, each one totally one-of-a-kind and shaped by your own hands, curiosity, and creativity.

It’s not about perfection - it’s about slowing down, experimenting, and enjoying the process.

Perfect for beginners, creative souls, and anyone who loves mindful making. 🫶

📍 Vienna | 2 hours | small cozy group
✨ All materials included + your pieces are glazed and fired for you.

Come create something you didn’t know you could make.💛🌿

A small preview of the shop update happening tomorrow at 18:00 (CET)

This Update I am highlighting the wild clay I foraged in western Austria, Vorarlberg, last summer. This clay is rich in iron, which gives it its beautiful red-brownish burgundy color.

I played a bit with using this clay as a decorator by painting stripes, to create my wild clay zebrinos; squiggles, because squiggles are very fun; paint splashes, to give the pieces a bit more of depth; and carving, to create a contrast between the clay that lays underneath and the color of the wild clay from Western Austria.

I hope you enjoy these pieces as much as I love them myself <3 make sure to check out the shop update tomorrow, 1st of june, at 18:00 (CET) on my website <3

Happy Sunday!

Finally!

I’m able to show you what I have been working on super intensly for the pst four months.

This is the main reason I got myself a 3D printer last year 🥹

Here is a little bts peek of how I make these earrings, even after the design was finalized the process still takes quite a while with all the details and polishing for such small pieces. But I absolutely love them!

Porcelain earrings where the design is part of the hook, I also wanted to create the possibility of combining my wild clay findimgs with the earrings so that you can wear pieces of different parts of the world. I started with having some with the Magdalena clay from Colombia but rest assured that I’ll be intergrating more wild clay findings into my porcelain earrings.

Personally, I love the bubbly version the most, I wear mine in white all the time and even sleep and shower with them! They are surprisingly light so you forget you have them on.

Let me know in the comments, which design do you like most? The bubbly or the arch?

Hope you all have a great rest of the week and add the 1st of May 18:00 (CET) into your calendars because these will be dropping on my website by then ❤️

xx

I’m happy to announce the theme of my May 1st Shop Update!

Porcelain & Wild Clay earrings! 🫶🏻🤍🤸🏻‍♂️

I worked for months really hard to design & execute these and I am very happy with the results.

I wanted to create something different that what you see as ceramic jewelry, but keep it simple and elegant. So for me it was really important to integrate the metal hoops into the design so that they work as a whole instead of having just a separate “charm” for the May update I am bringing you two versions: clean glossy white porcelain & the other is porcelain dipped in Magdalena wild clay (from the last shop update!) that way you can wear a piece of Colombia with you🤍

I hope you love them as much as I did designing and making them.

Mark it in your calendars: May 1st, 18:00 (CET)

Next week I’ll be showing you a bit of behind the scenes of the design process of these

Until then I wish you a lovely weekend

xx

Meet Alma-May
A new shape in my collection of shapes!

She is tall and she is striking!
The rings could not be missing in my new shape but I realized that most of my current shapes dont go higher than 15cm so I wanted something long. She is 24cm tall and I love it!

As you can tell my new things in the studio are wild clay and carving. And right now I think they do a really great convo.

Today is the day that I update my shop, so I'm excited to see where these beauties end up! I am loving the magdalena clay collection and I sure hope you are loving it too <3

From a boat ride in the north of colombia to my studio in vienna. This is just the first step, the next will be where they travel to find their new home

It is almost time!

These are some pieces of the Magdalena Clay Collection.
After sourcing some clay from a boat ride in the Magdalena River in Colombia, bringing it all the way to Vienna to my tiny studio and test it, process it and developed it. I managed to create these beautiful and unique pieces.

The Magdalena Wild Clay is rich in iron, which is why it has this deep chocolate color, the temperature that I fire my kiln is *just* higher than the temperature this clay goes to, having fluxes that makes the clay be a bit shiny yet a bit matte. This effect + the rich chocolate color makes it look almost metallic.
I personally love the half dip or exposing some of the commercial clay underneath because it makes you appreciate the shiny & metallic part of the Magdalena Clay just a bit more. The carved pieces are also some of my favorites because when the light touches those tiny grooves it you can see the metallic sine even more.

I grew up in Barranquilla, Colombia. But haven’t been back to visit that much since I left almost 12 years ago. Which makes this collection have an even more special place in my heart ❤️ i am definitely keeping one for myself, but I’m excited to see which ones will find their home first!

These beauties will be available on my 0nline Sh0p, the first of April (really soon!) at 18:00(CET)
These are truly one of a kind, so if you have one in mind I can recommend hitting that reminder button for this event I created in this post!

Meanwhile I wish you all a lovely Sunday,

It’s metallic, its rich and brown and it is nothing how I expected it to turn out.

Meet the Magdalena Clay Collection. Honoring the place that I called home growing up, this metallic brown part on all of these pieces is clay I foraged out of the Magdalena River in Barranquilla, Colombia

These and more pieces will be available on my website on the 1st of April at 18:00 (CET)

I ship EU, UK, CH & US

Have a nice weekend 🫶🏻

Part 3 is here!!
It was such a nice story and I was super excited to share it with you!
The Magdalena Clay turned out to be absolutely beautiful as an engobe, it has this rich brown almost metallic-like texture that is just absolutelly stunning.
I made a lot of pieces and I tried some new techniques for this shop update too!

Available April 1st at 18:00 (CET)

Hope you love it as much as I do! and can't wait to see where all these pieces travel to next <3

Have a lovely weekend
