Walking into this weekend, I prayed for clarity and peace. I’ve spent the last 8 years pouring my heart and soul into the Miss Magnolia State Pageant system.

This system was my very first pageant system to ever compete in and I’ve watch myself grow into the person I am today over these last 8 years.

I walked away 4 th runner up!

Chris Shannon, you have created a space for that growth and put on an amazing pageant this weekend.

Linda Brown, thank you for EVERYTHING and always ready to come to my defense.

Haley Shue, thank you for always being my cheerleader and keeping centered.

Kimber’s Queens , thank you for making sure I was prepared for this weekend. From hair and make up to walking lessons, I truly felt amazing! Best makeup room stories ever! ( The entire Kimber’s team is like no other.)

Christa Nordin Grice, thank you for making sure my tan is flawless as always. Your words of encouragement are always appreciated.

Sarah Gladney, there are not enough words in the English dictionary to express my gratitude for you . You have poured so much into me these last three years. From picking me up when I was in tears and wanted to quit to encouraging every single idea I have, thank you!
Emmie, your mock sessions always come in clutch! I got my key points across!!
To my family and friends, this weekend would never be possible if it wasn’t for all the constant support and encouragement.

Brentlee Lindsey , CONGRATULATIONS!!! I’m so excited for your year!! I’m so proud of you!

Today is director day!

7 years ago, Mrs. Linda Brown became permanently STUCK with me ( thankful for those supper clubs we used to have).

Mrs. Linda goes ABOVE and beyond for her girls on and off the stage. It doesn’t have to be pageant related, she is going to be supportive and ready to cheer along. There are many life events that I would not have made it through had it not been for her.

What many don’t see are the LATE night messages. The constant reassurance and encouragement. The many conversations from me trying to change my mind at the last minute. If you want to know where she is come both Little & Big Magnolia State, just listen for the loudest group. She is always sitting to the left of the stage , if you are looking at it.

There are not enough words in the English dictionary to express my gratitude for her.

Here’s to another year 8 in Vicksburg 👑!

In the words of Dorothy,” There is no place like home.” Even though I live on a dirt road. 🌈
I have traveled across the United States, and coming home will always be a breath of fresh air.
Leake County always has something exciting, but my favorite part is how laid-back it is. I appreciate being forced to slow down and enjoy the small moments of life and the tiny details.

Hi Everyone,

I am Amber Williams!

✨I have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with 11 years of experience. I have four college degrees.

✨I am attending Chamberlain University for my Master of Nursing Science. My goal is to become a Family Nurse Practitioner.

✨I am the founder and CEO of my non-profit AB Crown Foundation. It is a mentorship-based philanthropic organization focused on empowering individuals and providing them with the tools to succeed in life. We launched our scholarship this year.
Website launching soon!

✨My book collection is growing. My favorite book recommendation is “By The Time You Read This” by Cheslie Kryst and April Simpkins. This book holds a special place in my life.

✨Speaking of books, my own book will be released in the Summer of 2026.

✨I have a ten-year-old pitbull dog, Tux. He has traveled the United States with me. Fun fact: I got to do an interview about what it was like traveling with him when I was a travel nurse.

✨I enjoy skydiving and traveling. My goal is to go to all 50 states. I have been to 20 so far.

✨My favorite drink is a large Sonic Coca-Cola.

✨I want to wish each and every contestant the best of luck this weekend. I am looking forward to another amazing weekend in our pageant City, Vicksburg, MS.
