Mom, I love you so so so much… the heartbreak I feel right now hurts so bad… far beyond any feeling I’ve ever felt. You are the strongest woman I’ve ever met, you’ve fought so so hard throughout my life… smiling and loving me through the pain. I don’t think I’ll ever be the same person in this world without being able to hear your voice, laughter or hug. Nothing feels real right now, I feel like life is starting over. There’s a deeper story behind this.⬇️⬇️⬇️

As a kid I had a hard time with my dental experiences. My parents weren’t in the best position at the time I needed dental work, the problems got worse and it became a much bigger issue outside of just regular dental work. From then it was just a domino effect. Now as an adult, I get to take my smile back. Oddly enough, I spoke to @primordialleoralclinic last year, but my mother passed and I let it go. The last voicemail I have from my mom was her being freaked out about me wanting to get my teeth fixed… she searched for places for me with her very little knowledge of using the internet and I think she felt responsible. This year @augustomir followed up, they made it happen with me… and I felt protected by my mom through it all. I felt guided, and the fear she had before she passed became courage she gave to me as my Angel 😇.

Thank you @primordialleoralclinic, @drflaviolima and a special thank you to @drhumbertoaquino for taking care of me. Truly one of the best decisions I have made for myself. by @a.d.woods

As time goes by the years begin to feel like months, weeks, days and in the blink of an eye it feels like my life has flown by between each breath. But I’ve learned to live not only for my kids, but for myself. To let go of the fight or flight mentality and love myself and my life as a whole… and in turn, my kids will be loved with my entirety. Something I may have never learned without fatherhood… without my kids. Today and every day will always be charged to their existence and I’ve grown to be who I am because of them.
Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there who been doin it since day one… and to the ones who need a push… I pray you do it and experience the blessing that comes with being there as much as you possibly can. You got this pops ✊🏽 taken in Los Angeles, California by @a.d.woods
