ㅤ It’s one thing to write the words. It’s another to see what someone else does with them. 👀 Not going to lie, I’m really proud of how this turned out. The words came from SONDER, but @bilqeesmeemah_ brought her own touch to them, and I love how it all came together. Seeing the book interpreted in someone else’s way is one of the things I’m enjoying about putting it out there. 🤎📖 by @a.espee
ㅤ There’s something nice about seeing someone open SONDER, flip through the pages and get to experience the book for themselves. 📖🤎 by @a.espee
ㅤ Six years ago, I started writing. I had no idea where those words would take me, or that one day, they would become something much bigger than I imagined. Somewhere along the way, those words became SONDER: Lives Beyond the Silence. 🖤 A collection of poems exploring love, relationships, self-discovery, growth, loss and healing. This marks a significant milestone in my creative journey, and I am grateful to finally share this work with the world. 🥂 What started as writing, without a clear destination, has found its way into a book. And now, it gets to find its way to you. 🤎 by @a.espee

Sonder began with a simple realisation: there’s always more to someone’s life than we see. 🤎 Some of these stories are mine. Some came from people who let me into pieces of their lives. Others grew from conversations, memories, things I’ve witnessed, and things I’ve felt but never quite had the words for. Somehow, they all found their way here. Love. Loss. Identity. Loneliness. Healing. Becoming. Sonder: Lives Beyond the Silence. Stories from me. From you. From all of us. 🤎 by @a.espee
And just like that, SONDER is making its way into your hands. 🤎 by @a.espee
ㅤ Before SONDER was a book, it was a collection of things I didn’t know how to say out loud. I’ve always been drawn to the things we carry quietly. The love we never quite recover from. The versions of ourselves we outgrow. The losses we learn to live beside. The words we rehearse in our heads but never quite find the courage to say. Somewhere along the way, those things became poems. And those poems became SONDER: Lives Beyond the Silence. My name is Abdulrahman Sarkin-Pawa, and I’m the person behind these pages. I write about the things that are sometimes easier to feel than to say, and I’ve always hoped that somewhere in those words, someone might find a little piece of themselves. This is the first time I’m properly introducing myself here. So, hello. I’m glad you’re here. For hearts still healing. 🤎 by @a.espee
