t r a c e As part of my degree show work I made a triptych of site specific installations. Although one collection, these are individual representations of the different chapters of my personal narrative and journey through csad. Symbolic of optimism and happiness, yellow pieces tracing a line on the tree to exaggerate the contrast between bark and exposed dead wood. A mark of the existence and passing of something. A literal trace of what someone leaves behind. #welshartistsoninstagram #artistsoninstagram #explore #painting #canvasstretchers #oilonwood #fineartdegreeshow #instaartist #fineart #visualartist #artstudio #contemporaryart #artwork #paintingonwood #abstractexpressionsm #IGart #sitespecificart #photography #artphotography #impastopainting #impasto #symbolism #likeforlike #afineart #amysainsbury #mixedmedia #oilpainting #flowers #landscape #organic taken in The Folly, Pontypool Park by @a.fineart

f r a c t u r e As part of my degree show work I made a triptych of site specific installations. Although one collection, these are individual representations of the different chapters of my personal narrative and journey through csad. Placed around the fractures of a fallen tree, the cracks and splits in the form still held life with the insects and moss growing there. This work embraced the physical and metaphorical appearance of “broken but still enduring”. #welshartistsoninstagram #artistsoninstagram #explore #painting #canvasstretchers #oilonwood #fineartdegreeshow #instaartist #fineart #visualartist #artstudio #contemporaryart #artwork #paintingonwood #abstractexpressionsm #IGart #sitespecificart #photography #artphotography #impastopainting #impasto #symbolism #likeforlike #afineart #amysainsbury #mixedmedia #oilpainting #flowers #landscape #organic taken in The Folly, Pontypool Park by @a.fineart

s c a t t e r As part of my degree show work I made a triptych of site specific installations. Although one collection, these are individual representations of the different chapters of my personal narrative and journey through csad. Scattered across two trees that had intertwined together, this piece is symbolic of connection and separation. Fragments that have been dispersed looking to reconnect with each other. #welshartistsoninstagram #artistsoninstagram #explore #painting #canvasstretchers #oilonwood #fineartdegreeshow #instaartist #fineart #visualartist #artstudio #contemporaryart #artwork #paintingonwood #abstractexpressionsm #IGart #sitespecificart #photography #artphotography #impastopainting #impasto #symbolism #likeforlike #afineart #amysainsbury #mixedmedia #oilpainting #flowers #landscape #organic taken in The Folly, Pontypool Park by @a.fineart
