Starting the trip with an outfit that is easy, cute, and looks like I tried harder than I actually did. 😂🙌🏼

This Le Bop tank is SO good — perfect with denim now, but I can already see her making an appearance for the holidays. 🎄✨ Give me black pants, a skirt, a little sparkle…DONE.

Paired it with my SLVRLAKE jeans + Schutz kitten heel mules for walking around NYC, eating all the things, shopping…and probably taking approximately 4,000 pictures. 🤣📸

And you know I love a piece that can pull double duty in my closet. More wears = financially responsible shopping. That’s just math. 💁🏼‍♀️😂

When I started this account, I made myself a deal: 365 days of showing up. ❤️

Post every day for a year, then reevaluate where we are, how we feel, and whether this crazy little experiment is going anywhere. 😂 Because starting anything new is HARD…and sometimes you just have to commit before you have any idea what you’re doing.

What you all may not know is that my friend @pavonamarie is a huge reason I finally got the courage to start this page. She gave me the little push I needed. And BTW…her style is SO good, so if you’re not following her, you should be. 🥰

And TOMORROW MORNING…we’re going to NYC!!! 🗽✈️

I’ve NEVER been. I also very rarely go anywhere without my kiddos, so naturally I’m packing outfits, shoes, approximately 900 unnecessary things…and a healthy dose of mom guilt. 😭😂

But I’m doing it.

A little girls’ weekend filled with FOOD, FASHION & FUN…I’m so excited

So friends — I WANT ALL THE RECS. Restaurants, shopping, cocktails, coffee, photo spots, things we HAVE to do…literally ANY tip.

And while we’re at it, I’ll also accept tips for managing mom guilt while having fun without your children. 😂❤️

Apparently Take Back Tuesday has become TED Talk Tuesday and I’m not sure who authorized this. 😭😂

But seriously…when I started this little account, I was just trying something new. I hadn’t been on social media in forever, had NO idea what I was doing (still questionable 😂), and definitely didn’t expect this part of it.

There is such a huge group of supportive, funny, encouraging women here—all kicking butt at their own goals. Building businesses, raising babies, changing careers, starting over, trying something completely new…and cheering each other on while we do it. 🥹❤️

And THAT has probably been my favorite part of all of this.

Of course, every once in a while you get a comment like, “You didn’t really think that looked good on you, did you?”

And I’m over here like…
Well, actually, Susan…I DID. 😭😂☠️

But truly, I feel for people who feel the need to make someone else feel small. I hope they find whatever happiness they’re missing—because there are way too many amazing women out here proving that supporting another woman doesn’t take a single thing away from you. ❤️

So thank you to the women here who laugh with me, encourage me, share your own stories and make this little corner of the internet feel like a bunch of girlfriends hanging out.

At 47, I somehow made a whole new group of friends on Instagram. Who knew?! 😂🥹

Apparently I did a color analysis just so I could ignore it. 🤣😭

BUT…she did say this color is one of my colors 💅🏼 and honestly, I LOVE it.

This Amazon off-the-shoulder top is such a good one — stays on the shoulders 🙌🏼, comes in approximately 47 million colors 😂 and is one of those easy tops that looks way more expensive than it is.

And if you’re a back-workout girlie, this shirt is your time to shine. 😂💪🏼

And since my color analysis also told me BLACK is out for me…

Naturally, I ordered the black. ☠️🤣
I don’t listen. Ask my husband. 😭😂

Apparently fall finally decided to show up…so I can actually wear all the Amazon fall clothes I’ve been buying. 😂🍂🙌🏼

These are the pieces currently earning their keep in my closet — great denim, easy tops, sweaters, jackets and coats that somehow make it look like I put WAY more effort into getting dressed than I actually did. 🤣

And YES…they’re ALL Amazon. 🤯

My fall formula is pretty simple: great jeans + a cute top + a really good layer + a bag I’ve owned forever. And if I love something, you already know I’m probably buying it in another color. 😬😂

I’m always looking for that “bang for the buck” — pieces that feel good, look expensive and are actually worth buying. These made the cut. 🙌🏼

Okayyyy Amazon…this one is GOOD. 🤎🍂

This $50ish fall coat is giving me major Tuckernuck vibes for a whole lot less. The quality is SO good, the little contrasting cuff detail got me, and it’s just one of those pieces that makes a basic jeans outfit look instantly put together. 🙌🏼

And I’ve been seeing posts lately asking…why are people buying so much stuff?! 😬🤣

Welllll…for me, I genuinely LOVE shopping. It might actually be my love language. 😂 But I also really love finding the “bang for your buck” pieces and giving you an honest review before you spend your money.

Fall wedding guest dress for around $55?! 🤯 Amazon absolutely did this one RIGHT.

The color. The velvet. The off-the-shoulder neckline. 😍 And most importantly—it’s SO soft + stretchy, has a side zip, and actually feels good on. This looks way more expensive than it is.

Paired it with my LV bag + Louboutin pumps because you already know my philosophy…save on the dress, splurge on the things you’ll wear forever. 😂🙌🏼

And yes…the bun-a-thon continues. At this point, she may be permanent. 🤓🤣
