I’m ash (she/her) and I love making stuff! I am a graphic designer and studio artist based in Portland. Always inspired by my Midwestern childhood, my work utilizes nostalgic elements inspired by domestic handicraft. In my free time I can be found dabbling in new artistic mediums, giggling at the internet, or sailing on the Columbia river in my lil’ sailboat named Belafonte. I currently work as the graphic designer for PSU’s Campus Rec and volunteer as a mentor for folks considering altrustic kidney donation!

@psu_artanddesign is extraordinarily grateful to the Harold and Arlene Schnitzer CARE Foundation for their support in creating the Arlene Schnitzer Visual Arts Prize. It was established by Arlene Schnitzer in 2013 to recognize student achievement in the School of Art + Design and to raise awareness of the quality of art education at PSU.
