“God grant me the Serenity”

Dear Spelman College,
No amount of words can explain my personal experience at this institution. No one truly understands what happens behind those gates and how much you will change. Through it all I found ways to love Spelman & appreciate all it has to give. To be a Spelman Woman is to be a woman prepared to serve & I made the choice to change the world.

I give all my thanks and love to the sisters I’ve gained along the way. I wish I could express my love for each of you by name. We did it and thats the most important thing.

To my mom, my dad, and my family at home thank you for your endless support, inspiration, prayers and unconditional love. Everything I do is to make you all proud and I hope I have succeeded.

Last but not least, thank you GOD.

This is the end of an era, but the beginning of my journey. After 3pm today, just know it’s Ms. Spelman Alumna to you.

i’m getting a degree…thats the tea👩🏽‍🎓

These last 4 years have challenged me, broke me, and built me into the woman I am today.

To Albro Falconer Science Center: There are so many things I could say but in the end all I will say is thank you. Thank you for the long days, long nights, and every tear shed. Though my academic strengths were pushed beyond measures, I came out a more skilled scholar.

Beginning my college experience during COVID changed me in various ways and there are no words to express how full my heart is knowing I made it after what i went through these past 4 years.

Just 7 more days until I become a Spelman Woman and none of this would’ve been possible without my God.
