Kintsugi Perfumes are in Paris — congratulations! And our vase is there with them.
Our friends Daniel and Martin from @kintsugi_perfumes approached us to create an object for their Paris collection of perfumes. Markéta designed a vase, which we complemented with an empty crack - a motif characteristic of @kintsugi_perfumes .

The vase is now on display at the iconic Parisian perfumery @noseparis .

This is us – me (Adam) @adamhelma , Markéta @maky_zemanova , and our studio manager Pixar.

Markéta is my fiancee, who works full-time as a UX/UI designer and spends her free time making ceramics. She focuses mainly on hand-built pieces, larger vases, and occasionally still sits at the wheel.
I’m her fiance, a former architect, chef, and photographer, now fully dedicated to ceramics. My main focus is custom tableware for fine dining.

We aim to offer you the best service possible – from your first message to the final delivery of your order. We’re happy to discuss details, tailor pieces to your needs, and make sure everything runs smoothly.

We officially opened last week. We don’t have fixed opening hours, but everything can be arranged individually. Most days, you’ll find us in the studio anyway.

That was amazing! Thank you all so much for coming and helping create this atmosphere. It really motivates us to keep doing these offline events – we enjoy them so much.

Next year we’ll try to take it a step further – and ideally into slightly warmer weather. Once again, huge thanks to everyone who stopped by, and to everyone who made it happen with us.

Special thanks to DJ @elizavetatrova and @hodo.kvas. The spectacular flowers and cookies were taken care of by my @maky_helmova.

Mixing our own glazes has been the only right path for us from the very beginning. Only glazes we develop ourselves can handle 1300 °C – the temperature that gives our tableware its durability. At this firing temperature the clay body almost fully vitrifies and loses its porosity.

That’s exactly what we’re aiming for. Right now we’re preparing a lot of new glaze samples in the studio – testing textures and colors for @ajalachocolate , who aren’t afraid of color. We’ll be making drinking chocolate cups for them in several different colors. We’re still searching for the right ones. Sampling like this means at least 50 new tests every week. We’re really looking forward to the final colors.

CZ

We’ve fallen back in love with linocut. We want to keep craft alive across everything we make and share.

For our studio’s first birthday, we created a poster using this technique. We scanned the linoprints, scaled everything to the right proportions, and added typography. And the poster came to life.

CZ
Znovu jsme si zamilovali linoryt. Rádi bychom udrželi řemeslo skrze naši veškerou komunikaci.

K prvním narozeninám našeho studia jsme vytvořili plakát touto technikou. Linotisky jsme naskenovali, všemu dali správné měřítko a sazbu. A plakát je na světě.

This new tableware set was designed for Michelin-starred chef @danieljuras - this time, however, for home use. That made this commission all the more special for us.

We wanted to create a simple set with a clean design, its forms carrying through every piece. So far the plates have come to life in our stone matte beige glaze, but we’re looking forward to more sets like this one.

CZ

Our job right now is simply to finish what BeBerry has already done so carefully, and to give you the most enjoyable coffee-drinking experience possible. We’re striving for one thing - that the cup you drink from is a worthy finish to their work.

Right now we’re testing a new cup shape, developed in collaboration with @beberrycoffee for their needs and operations. They’re honestly one of our all-time favorite coffee roasters - amazing people are behind it, and we’re glad to be part of it.

CZ
