When I moved back to Portland in 2010. I went to St.Helens Oregon skatepark to catch a session. Ended up meeting this young rider @kevin__ellington who blew my mind. Believe he was 15 at the time and grew up riding the St.Helens park. Which was unreal for how good this young man was. One time going out I shot this single frame sequence of him that was a challenge to edit. Really like the way it turned out. Since then, him and I have became close friends. And now add his wife and 3 kids to the friends list. Dude still shreds on the regular, and kids want to go as well. Stay rolling Kevin! #havefunridebikes by @a.merrall

Since I was a kid, my bike has always been my escape from life’s problems. It will always be a creative release, a way to burn off negative energy, step away from problems in hope to gain a new perspective, a way to meet new people, and a reason to travel and explore. Thanks to those I’ve met along the way, especially those with positive energy.
After this last years challenges, I feel like life is coming full circle and enjoying all the positive energy that’s been coming my way.
Thank you @pw_photo for the picture, and thank you to the RAD BMX community that’s been around me this summer.

Thanks to @dakotalopez_ for shooting this rad pic. Dakota and crew from North Carolina came to Oregon for a coast/ Portland trip and was a rad crew to meet up with and catch some shreds with. Thanks to the crew for all the positive energy and stoke on shredding! by @a.merrall

One of my favorite @burnside_skatepark pics. I would always do this as a part of line and thought it could be a cool pic if someone could have a good eye/angle to show how loose it gets. @goddamned_jay was traveling thru town and caught a session with me and asked to try and shoot a pic of it. Such a fun maneuver, and Jay got it! Need to get this printed before I lose it..

Was so good to get back out to Yamhill county and meet up with some of my closest friends from High school.
That and going to the County fair for a Hip Hop show of C&C Music Factory, Twista, and Bubba Sparks. Never would have thought I would go to a Hip Hop show at the County fair and Rodeo.
Was great night. Haven’t stayed out this late in a very long time. Was so worth it. ❤️ by @a.merrall

Even with all of the challenges just to get to yesterday(closed Thursday due to weather, delay lift load 1/2 hour for avalanche mitigation) I find so much joy in finding these little stashes away from the crowd, even at days end on the way back to the car…. 😋🤙❄️🏂🤘 by @a.merrall
