Growing up with a police officer as my dad was cool. When I was young, he was my superhero! He taught me how to shoot guns, play with his handcuffs, everything you’d expect. As I got older and understood the risks of his job, I would get anxious bellyaches terrified of him to go to work. I would beg him to call off for the night to stay home with me. And he did, only for so long. Every morning I would eagerly wait for him to get home to take me to school but ultimately I knew he was safe… Until one morning in middle school he didn’t come home, I was nervous and we had heard nothing. He ended up slipping on ice at the end of his shift during a car accident and broke his ankle in 3 places. This was the first time I saw him in pain and cry and those bellyaches came back. (Btw I’m stoked to get the hardware back, I thought you’d laugh🔩😂)Unfortunately, those bellyaches are back and I’m not sure if they’ll ever go away this time.You were my best friend, a coach, a mentor, and made an impact on so many. When it came to death you were never afraid and always told me “remember the good times”. When it came to pain you always told me “the pain will go away”. In life you always said “you can’t unring the bell”. I’ll live by these lessons forever. Hearing all the stories and talking about your past truly allowed me to put so many of the little puzzles I knew to be your life together to tell your beautiful story of just trying to navigate life. The theme that rang true was that you gave endlessly. You served the community of Richfield as a police officer, you gave back to your college and fraternity as a chapter advisor, just this last thanksgiving while you were sick you made 6-8 turkeys all for different families and friends! I hope to carry on your tradition of cooking along with trying to give more. I got big shoes to fill and you left an amazing legacy. I’ll cherish the final moments I got to spend with you and am grateful to have been by your side. You were so strong and hid all your pain when we were in the room until your last day. 10 years and too many people to tag! February marked 10 years with Red Bull for me which is crazy to say. I still vividly remember where I was when I got the offer in college and most of the memories included in this video. It hasn’t felt like 10 years at all! I am beyond grateful for the people I’ve met, the places it’s taken me and the friendships it has brought me! TIL THE WHEELS FALL OFF 🤘❤️‍🔥 by @a.mix

An evening of deep fried dreams and cotton candy wrapped bacon 🎡🥓I recently got my hands on a Fuji x100VI and it has quickly become attached to my hip. Film will always have a place in my heart but after forgetting to have multiple rolls manually inspected with all my travels, this seemed like the safer bet.
