Dear A’Ziyaah,

I can’t believe we are here… your senior year of high school. 🥹❤️ It feels like just yesterday I was getting you ready for your first day of school, and now I’m watching my baby walk into her final year.

This moment is so bittersweet for me. I’m happy, proud, excited, and sad all at the same time. Watching you grow into the young woman you are today has been one of the greatest blessings of my life.

But I would be lying if I said this moment doesn’t hurt too. Mama should be here. 💔 She should be here watching you take your senior pictures, talking about graduation, getting excited about prom, and counting down the days until you walk across that stage. I know how proud she would be of you. I wish more than anything that we could physically have her here with us for all of these moments.

But I also know Mama’s love didn’t leave when she did. ❤️ She is a part of us, and I know she will be with you through every milestone this year. When you walk across that graduation stage, I know she’ll be right there in spirit, smiling and saying, “That’s my baby.”

A’Ziyaah, enjoy this year. Take the pictures. Go to the events. Laugh with your friends. Make memories. Don’t rush it, because one day you’re going to look back and realize just how special this chapter was.

And when things get hard, remember who you are and where you come from. You have so many people behind you, and most importantly, you will always have me. No matter how old you get or where life takes you, I’ll always be your mother, your biggest supporter, and one of the loudest people cheering for you.

Class of 2027. 🎓❤️ We made it, baby. Your last first day, your last homecoming, your last prom, and then graduation.

I’m so proud of you, A’Ziyaah. I wish Mama was here to experience it with us, but we’re going to carry her with us through every single moment.

Here’s to your senior year, baby girl. Make it unforgettable.
