Collaboration and residency with @sarabrinknielsen 🪉🎙️🎶

We wrote four different pieces in just two days and performed them in a very unique place. Inspired by the story of ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’, we had a lot of fun giving it our own twist.

Thank you @productiehuiskosmik and @septembermefestival for bringing us together. It was a magical evening with all artists at @kei.amersfoort 💛

Big thanks to @josminnaar for joining as performer 🧗

NIET BANG ZIJN translated to NET BANG WÊZE (cover)

I used to tell myself ‘don’t be afraid’ a lot, still am sometimes actually. this song feels so safe and empowering (also teared me up a lot back in 2020)

Anna Spark - Burgundy Red (live at Booster). a few thoughts captured.

“Burgundy Red is about someone else completely colouring your world, to the point where you slowly lose yourself. Eventually, you don’t really know who you are anymore, or what you want, and all you think you want is to be with that other person. You believe that’s where you belong. But in reality, that’s not what it is.”

Anna Spark - altyd alles allinnich (live at Booster). a few thoughts captured.

“altyd alles allinnich was the first song I wrote in Frisian. It was inspired by a conversation with my beppe, my grandmother. Although it’s about loneliness, there’s a quiet strength woven into it. It’s also a precious reminder of my grandmother, one I hold close.”

Anna Spark - seefonk (live at Booster). a few thoughts captured.

“seefonk is definitely my favorite song at the moment. There’s something about it that feels so hopeful and full of energy. The first time we played it in rehearsal, I got goosebumps and I could see the same excitement in my band. When I think of seefonk, I picture myself drifting in a little boat at night, surrounded by tiny sparkling lights on the water. A place where, just for a moment, I can simply trust where I am.”
