#whyAΩEwednesday with our sisters @megan.chab & @ashleysuplicki 💗✨

megan, “I chose AΩE in search of a community of women who understand and support each other, and I am so grateful I did, because I have gained that and so much more. AΩE has become my home, my family, and the place where I feel I belong. A huge part of that is because of Ashley. Since Open House, we have gone on this journey together, and I will forever be grateful to AΩE for bringing us so close. Ashley is truly someone I look up to, and I would not be the person I am today without her. She inspires me every day through her dedication, ambition, willingness to put herself out there and get involved, all while making time for the people she loves. Seeing the way Ashley balances everything all while being a computer science major made me realize I could too, and that is how I decided to minor in CS. Most importantly, Ashley has shown me what true sisterhood looks like. She has a way of making everyone around her feel welcome, loved, and included, and has always done exactly that for me. I am so lucky to have a sister who encourages, inspires, and supports me. She is truly the best friend I could ever ask for. I love you so so much Ashley!!!”

ashley, “For an entire semester Megan and I lived 3 doors down from each other and never talked. We would see each other in passing and just smile or wave but not really talk. Come spring semester, I started rushing A.O.E. and a mutual friend told me that Megan was also rushing. So for the next event I asked her if she wanted to walk over together and then we continued to do that for the rest of the process. Over time, we laughed together more, shared secrets and fears, and grew closer. Soon enough we were hanging out outside of A.O.E. events. We became super close for the entire semester and then over the summer she even came on vacation with me and we would text constantly. Megan and I became so close through A.O.E. and I’m insanely grateful for her friendship and sisterhood. She truly brought so much light into my life and has never not been there for me when I need her.”
