Today was one of the proudest and most meaningful moments of my journey.

On World Vitiligo Day, I had the privilege of standing in front of my son's school and sharing my story of vitiligo, modelling, advocacy, resilience, and the importance of dreaming big.

As a child, I often felt different because of my vitiligo. Like many people with visible differences, there were times when I wished I could blend in rather than stand out. I never imagined that one day the very thing I once struggled to accept would become one of my greatest strengths.

Over the years, vitiligo has taken me on a journey I could never have predicted. It led me into modelling, becoming a vitiligo advocate, meeting incredible people, and even becoming the first model with vitiligo to appear in an Odeon advert in cinemas.

But today wasn't about any of those achievements.

Today was about standing in front of hundreds of children, including my son, and showing them that being different is not something to hide. It's something to embrace.

Years ago, I started modelling because I wanted to be a positive role model for my son and help create a world where people felt seen, represented and proud of who they are. Looking across that hall today and seeing him in the audience felt like a true full-circle moment.

If just one child left that assembly feeling more confident in themselves, more accepting of others, or believing that their differences could one day become their superpower, then every step of this journey has been worth it.

I finished the assembly with a simple message:

Dream big.

Be curious.

Be kind.

And never be afraid of what makes you different.

Because one day, it might become your greatest strength. 💜

Some people carry a light so bright that it changes the energy of every room and every life they touch. Tulsi Vagjiani was exactly that. She didn’t just live, she spread magic.

Tulsi or 'T' as I called her, was a force for good, a dedicated humanitarian, a survivor and a true inspiration. She was the kindest soul who truly got to know my wife and absolutely adored my son who lovingly called her "Aunt T".

This photo from a few summers ago with T & Shankar is how I’ll always remember her... surrounded by love, laughter, sunshine and as she used to call us 'her boys!". Waking up this morning, the world feels a lot quieter, but we are all better for having known her and been touched by her magic.

It’s been 3 years since I last walked a runway, so I’m beyond excited to return for the Future of Fashion show.

Walking the runway isn’t just about fashion, it’s about representation. As a vitiligo model, I feel proud to stand alongside so many diverse and talented individuals who are breaking barriers and redefining beauty.

Since my first London Fashion Week walk back in 2022 with my friend Samanta (@bullockinclusion) she's been nothing short of incredible. Her drive for inclusion and empowerment has inspired me every step of the way.
