Here's your warning:
My books contain spice. It's there for a reason. I will never be ashamed of it.

My books also contain content warnings, please read them. I even included them in my romcom series because my covers are cutesy. When you handle spice responsibly, never feel ashamed for writing it.

This community can be one of the most open and supportive communities I've ever been a part of... Other times, it's by far the most judgmental.

If you don't like something, keep scrolling.
The bean soup theory is so real.
I've seen spicy books accurately marketed and they still get the "this was so explicit, DNF, bad bad bad!" reviews.
I've seen non-spicy books that were never marketed as spicy get bad reviews for the lack of it.

Why?

As a reader, it's up to you to find a story that matches your preferences.

As an author, you have every right to write what YOU want and not what you think will sell.

And whether some of you agree or not, spice doesn't just exist for spice's sake. Sometimes it's there to bring light to a topic that's been shoved in the dark corners of the attic for far too long.

And if a book IS spicy for the sake of it, that's okay too.
