today marks the end of an era. my 20s brought adventures, lessons and growth. they also brought loss, challenges, and change. i’m not sure what 30 will bring, but here’s hoping my 20s prepared me for it 😂😉 here’s to a new era 🍾 taken in Frederick, Maryland by @a.roshay

my sweet, beautiful maia. there are no words to describe how bright of a light you were in my life for these past 9 years. waking up to you and coming home to you were always the best part of my day. the love and peace you brought was unlike anything i have ever experienced. your pure, loving energy was so strong. your intelligence and awareness always amazed me. truly the most special being i have ever met, and i am so grateful. some people may say “it’s just a cat” but i wholeheartedly believe you are an angel. an angel who showed me every day what it’s like to be loved. thank you for loving me. thank you for everything. my heart will always feel empty without you here, but i know your radiant energy lives on and you are at peace. i hope you and toulouse are having the best time in your true forever home. until we meet again, my love 🤍 the day i brought you home 🤍 by @a.roshay
