about four years ago, my mom made me tour kenyon college. i told her i was pretty sure rural ohio wasn’t for me. the minute we stepped on campus i loved it, but in proper seventeen year old fashion i couldn’t admit defeat. even as the years passed and i talked about how much i loved kenyon, i never admitted she was right.

mom, you were right. you are always right. thank you. kenyon college changed my life and i don’t know who i would be without it. by @a.shleysanchez

Earlier this month, my senior thesis in dance premiered at the fall dance concert. I am so grateful for the countless opportunities and support the dance department has given me. Working on these solos has been a transformative experience, and I look forward to my final concert next semester.
