📸 by @mathiasguethoff

Having quality time with our friends is so important. 🤗

For us, it is going for walks together. @mathiasguethoff ( Matze) and @katerianer (Stefan) you guys enriching my life! I am grateful to have friends like you two in my life.

Starting from a healthy, positive place

Today I had a lovely walk by the Alster.
This weather, the sunset and the fresh air is just what I needed.

one picture of the many we have taken in Cyprus during our holiday a few weeks ago with my Brother and sister-in-law.
I loved this place.
I felt so small in this gorge.
As someone with overthinking tendencies to be surrounded by nature which is bigger than the pictures in my head always very helpful.
I am getting better at using the knowledge I gathered which is, to stop, take a few deep breaths, and be present at the moment.
It is a fact that it is easier said than done but with practice we can better ourselves.
Are you an over-thinker? Do you have a shortcut to distract yourself from it?

To be sun kissed in Rome ☀️

“I thought I knew everything when I came to Rome, but I soon found I had everything to learn.”
Edmonia Lewis

I have seen so many movies, clips and commercials about Rome and yet I had no idea how overwhelmingly full it is with everything and everywhere.

Have you been in Rome?
What was your impression?

This year I started my 7th year with the Happiness Jar.

Sometimes it does help seeing your happy moments collected into a jar ( especially those days when you feel like nothing is working out) and it definitely helps to stop for a moment, slow down and take your time to cherish these moments in time. To be grateful for the people and better moments that are not given to everyone.

✨I am grateful for the people in my life! ✨

Sharing our joys and sorrows with each other helps deepen our relationships. Learning from each other’s mistakes and enjoying the other’s joy is what makes life worth living.
