This is a lamp is on view at @davidkleingallery with an artist reception this Friday, September 18th, 5 – 8 PM.

David Klein Gallery presents; 𝙐𝙣𝙍𝙚𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙙 curated by Detroit-based designer Jack Craig @jackcraigstudio for the 16th edition of the #detroitmonthofdesign @designcoredet festival. 𝙐𝙣𝙍𝙚𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙙 serves as a platform for the exploration of creative partnerships by fifteen Artist/Designers.

Open September 10th – October 17th

The core theme of the show is rooted in collaboration, designed to examine the processes, opportunities, challenges, tensions, and possibilities that emerge when creators work together. By gathering a carefully curated group of artists and designers, the exhibition will highlight a diverse spectrum of artistic perspectives. Some are deeply accustomed to collaborative workflows and others maintain strictly individual practices. Featured artists include Ebitenyefa Baralaye & Evan Fay, Nina Cho & Jack Craig, Dee Clements & Seth Keller, Toomas Toomepuu & C Hancock, Iris Eichenberg & Alberte Tranberg, James Anthony Haddrill & Alexander Buzzalini and Chris Shanck, and Wes Taylor & Tony Hope.

@jovalynne_ is showing “Language of Color” - a sense of vibrations through her material lens of color and sound. While my ‘stick’ piece is installed in the courtyard “A line amongst lines”, as image and object, defining and dividing your view out the snowy landscape.
