To my Papa… I knew that if I could get through this, I could get through anything. I’ll love you forever with all my heart, and I meant every single word I ever said to you. Thank you for everything, for loving me, for treating me like the queen you always knew I was, and for instilling in me a love for Jesus Christ that will guide me for the rest of my life. Love you more, Papa. 🩵 by @a.tukess

✅ Day 2 of my Master’s program at Auburn University. I made it through the storm by faith, by willpower, by God’s grace. There were times I wanted to give up, but I held on, knowing God had more for me. This journey is proof that with faith, anything is possible. I’m walking into this next chapter with purpose, excitement, and full confidence that God is still writing my story. #MastersLoading #AuburnGradStudent #GodDid by @a.tukess
✅ Finish college. Become a mom. Keep the faith.
This wasn’t the plan I had, but it was the path God allowed.
I found out I was pregnant right before my final year of college, and I had no idea how I’d juggle sleepless nights with classes, labs, and exams. But nothing could’ve prepared me for what came next. Not even a month into my last semester, my baby was hospitalized. We almost lost him. I was living in the hospital, trying to hold it together, thinking my dreams were slipping through my fingers. I truly didn’t think I’d finish. But somehow, by the grace of God, I kept going. It was a test of faith, of endurance, of identity. And I’m still being tested. But I’ve learned that faith isn’t proven in comfort it’s proven in chaos. I walked across that stage not just as a graduate, but as a mother who refused to give up, a woman who clung to God when everything around her said quit. To my sweet J’Alani, thank you. You were my shining light in the darkest moments. You gave me strength when I felt empty. Your fight reminded me of my own. This degree is as much yours as it is mine. James 1:12 says, ‘Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised.’ This isn’t just a celebration it’s a declaration: God is still good, even in the hard. To Him be the glory, for the baby, for the degree, for the strength to keep walking when I thought I couldn’t. 💗

✅ Obtain B.S. in Chemistry. 🎓🧪
There were days I wanted to quit. Nights I cried. Exams I thought would break me. Countless moments where doubt screamed louder than my determination. I questioned my strength, my purpose, even my ability to finish what I started. But God. Romans 5:3 says, ‘We also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance.’ And now, looking back, every trial, every sleepless night, every setback was shaping me. God was refining me through the fire not to destroy me, but to prepare me. This degree represents more than chemistry it represents growth, faith, and God’s unrelenting grace. I didn’t get here by my own strength. I got here by leaning fully on His. So I give Him all the glory. I’m walking across that stage not just with a diploma, but with a testimony. To God be all the glory for the struggle, for the strength, and for the victory. 🥳🥳🥳
