Thankful for every opportunity. Thankful for @akeem__ali for allowing me to tour with him and even believing I fit his brand. Thankful for @jay_kelly94 for putting me on, for thinking of me. A brother for life and Glorilla’s new personal chef. Chef Kells! Respect the name🫵🏾 Thankful for my tour brother @justice444all who kept me grounded everytime I was ready to fly away and who made the experience all the more worth it. Thankful for @itscameronmalik for the laughs and the memories of me yelling at him on stage🤣 I love all yall and pray that I continue to be blessed to perform alongside and travel the world with amazing people like you. Lastly, thankful for every fan who made me feel like a star, past and present friends who came out and showed love. If you missed me it’s cause I had another gig. Chasing and living all my childhood dreams and doing it alone cause I’m not scared of what it takes… Every step of the way hoping I’m making the right decisions. Praying that today Im pleasing the me of yesterday. Learning to love everything I dislike about myself…or at least what I was taught to dislike. No pictures please. Away from the media cause at some point it seems fake… Grateful for every soul I’m able to encounter along the way. Cheers to 25. A Letter to my nephew…don’t be afraid to go for it. Give yourself grace on your journey. Lead with love and walk with dignity. But, most of all, show up for yourself… cause the battle in the mirror will sometimes be tougher than any obstacle life will throw in your path. And if you’re ever that sure in your convictions, BURN THE SHIP. You won’t need it to return home if you’re strong enough to build another. Thank you @geebarnes1 for your grace, your poise, your MIND. I can’t express enough how your work helped me to release and find stillness in a mind that carries so much and with high expectations. The weight is heavy. And I instinctively carry it alone. But your trust in me and my brothers woke a trust in myself that had begun to lie dormant a bit too long. Godspeed to you and I can’t wait to see you again 🙏🏾🫶🏾🥹 And so, with the end of the summer growing near, I press RESET. I survived the trials and I’m stronger. Atlanta Dance Connection, my first family after finding the man I wanted to learn ballet under😌. Mr. C means the world to me and I’m so glad that he’s blessed with eyes in the back of his head cause he’s watching even when I think he isn’t. And I love Allyne beyond measure for trusting me, whether it’s on stage, assisting, or just helping out. And don’t get me started on my insecurities with starting ballet late. Starting DANCE late😩 I pray for more time with them. Moreso to torture them both and sexually assault/harrass Mr. C, but also so that they can be there for my continued growth. Here’s to my anniversary of being part of @theehausoflondon and adding absolutely no value to the organization.
