Recent atelier vibes (basically our home) 🎚 Realised I’m not a really a “painter” per se but more accurately “someone who colors”🀷🏻 い぀も「絵を描いおいたす」ず名乗っおきたしたが、実際のずころの正䜓は、より正確には「色を塗る人」な気がしおきた、そんな最近。 .  He started to focus solely on painting around 2019, and reached his current contemporary pop style in Milan 2023-2024, with the support of his studio space and shared members, at atelier studio SBT. Since the beginning of his artistic journey, Ryota has always made his canvases by hand, giving each and every piece a unique character. Not one canvas is the same - they are all a little bit tilted and one of a kind in their own way. - Message: There is no clear meaning to my artworks; you can find meaning in each piece, or not it’s up to you. For me I find suppleness and strength in this form of shape. Initially, he created experimental mixed-media works using everyday materials such as string, wax, nails, fabric, and plastic. Around 2019, he shifted his focus to expression through paint, transitioning toward contemporary art pieces that reflect his inner self. He spent approximately two years in Milan, Italy, starting in 2023; there, he established a studio and developed his current style, which leans toward Pop Art. Consistently since the start of his career, he has handcrafted his canvases from scratch, giving every piece a unique character and a shape that is ever-so-slightly irregular. My work doesn't have a single, definitive meaning; viewers are free to find something in it—or not. I sense both suppleness and strength in this form. From the beginning of his career, he has consistently handmade canvases from scratch, and all his works have a slightly distorted, unique individuality.
