putxas- 10x12 intaglio and screen print this one gave me so much trouble bruh the acid vats were doing me dirty but it’s done🙂‍↕️ the fish are supposed to be the thicktail chub, a fish that is now extinct that was native to the Tulare Lake! there is so much gone from what the natural landscape of California used to be but that does not mean there is nothing left🪲🪲 also shoutout @llybaga for letting me use her as reference and helping me with the name of this piece i appreciate it brutha🤝 #print #art #intaglio #artist by @a1yyyya

matresense- 10x12, intaglio wish the values got darker but i can’t count well and i messed up the timing on the aquatint but whateva shes fun 🪲🪲🪲this one is about the dehumanization of mothers and devaluing motherhood into an expected role rather than a choice or some shi🤨 #print #art #artist #intaglio by @a1yyyya
trying something newwwww editing these videos are so fun i need to remember to record more often 🪲🪲🪲 also if anyone has any tips on this technique do not be afraid to share im floundering bruh #print #intaglio #mezzotint #art #artist by @a1yyyya
marlboros & ultras 18x24, oil on canvas i’m finally back to painting and i feel so free 🪲🪲🪲 i did this still life in 1 1/2 sittings over the span of 12 hours and i was so happy with the results. there is some perspective tweaking and finishing up the tile and some of the darks with a glaze would be great but its so wet and chunky imma have to wait for all that😏😏😏 also photographing wet paint is so annoying how do people do that shit so well bruh #painting #stilllife #art #artist #studentart by @a1yyyya
