I can’t believe it’s been 10 years with this incredible mare. What started as a dream turned into one of the best blessings of my life. From early morning at the barn to quiet rides where it felt like we were the only two in the world, she had given me more joy, comfort, and confidence than she’ll ever know. She’s carried me-literally and emotionally- through so much. Cheers to a decade of trust, growth, and love ❤️ by @a2zequestrian

Today I did something I wasn’t sure I’d ever do again—ride my horse. At the end of January, I broke my back and everything changed. There were hard days, slow progress, and a lot of doubt. But today… today I swung a leg over, took a breath, cried a little and felt like me again. No ribbons or records—just quiet joy and the kind of healing that happens when you’re doing what you love. The journey from broken bones to balance in the saddle has tested every part of me—physically, mentally, emotionally. But healing isn’t linear, and progress isn’t always visible. This ride was more than just a ride. It was proof that I’m still here, still strong, and still chasing what sets my soul on fire. Grateful doesn’t begin to cover it. by @a2zequestrian

While this summer may look a little different being on the ground, it has given me so much time with Nene working on some new things. Can’t believe it has been 6 months since I fell but feeling hopeful to get back on soon 🤞🏼 taken in Middleburg, Virginia by @a2zequestrian

Well life is going to look a little different for the next 6 months; On Thursday, hacking back from the ring, Nene spooked and I fell off resulting in a burst fracture in my L1 of my spine. After a successful surgery, I am back home resting a few weeks and will start PT soon. I have endless thanks for the staff at Inova Hospital in Landsdowne, the ICU nurses and doctors, and my family and friends who have done so much to support me in the recovery ahead. 🙏🏼💪🏼🩵🐴 by @a2zequestrian

As 2025 quickly approaches, I want to take the time to remind you to step back and reflect on the year. Nene and I did a lot of growing this year as a partnership, while we didn’t get out competing as much as we wanted to we still remained active in our local community with fox hunting. Which we have found a new love for and hope to grow in the upcoming year 🐴💙🦊 Here’s to 2025!! taken in Middleburg, Virginia by @a2zequestrian

As 2022 comes to a close, and 2023 quickly approaches, I have come to stop and think about what a year it has been. Nene and I decided to continue our fox hunting journey and we have met so many people! We cannot thank everyone enough, supporters, friends, trainers, and barn mates for their love and support as we navigate this new love of the sport! Excited to see what 2023 has in store! We’re coming back to you eventing! 🐴⚡️🎉 by @a2zequestrian

While Nene was full of heart today (first time out since March) I decided to call it a day about a quarter of the way through to save her due to some fitness stuff. I love this horse with all my heart and am ready for what fall has in store ❤️‍🔥 taken in Loudoun County by @a2zequestrian
