As a sculpture between transportation infrastructure, graphics and nostalgia, the design formally accumulates references found directly within our urban surroundings, from traffic islands to signs and signalling—moments of conformity, safety and order, moved into an arrangement of mirror and chrome.

What at first glance appears to be a gridded sequence of arms further reveals itself as a structure of irregular and surprising reflections wrapped around @stefan_cooke pieces. In detail, the design shifts and plays with the perspectives of the viewer, the space and the clothing. by @a347___

The design of @cliopeppiatt’s store draws heavily from references to 1960s Hollywood classics such as Flower Drum Song and Funny Girl.

Both films feature scenography shaped by softness and Golden Age glamour, creating complete worlds through rich, tactile material detailing. Their spaces distort scale through repetitive motifs—endless staircases, expanses of curtaining, and theatrical composition.

Despite their spectacular and highly performative qualities, these sets retain familiar markers of domesticity through their furniture and furnishings. This sense of familiarity gives the spaces a certain relatability, as though we’re offered a glimpse into someone’s daydream from their day to day. by @a347___

Sat at the centre of @cliopeppiatt ’s store is the tête-à-tête seat (referred to as the “boyfriend chair” by visitors).
Contrasting with the lightness of the fabric walls, the seating forms part of a range of bespoke, meandering stainless-steel fittings designed for the store, all using recurring radii and consistent tube thicknesses. by @a347___

@cliopeppiatt flagship store at No. 1 Motcomb Street, Knightsbridge, London.

The process of designing a space to showcase Clio’s work—a world she has developed over more than a decade—was as playful and joyful as the dresses themselves.

Working closely with Clio and her team, the space has been transformed into a cloud-like, serene, and intimate environment, defined by an entirely blue, fabric-lined interior. Carefully meandering stainless steel furnishings create a tactile contrast, accentuating the ethereal quality of the dresses on display.

Further accents and details, including Clio’s recent collaboration with @szilvesztermako , are woven throughout the store, drawing visitors deeper into her dream-like world. by @a347___

Jean Cocteau stood at the heart of the concept for @lilicuria salon at @doverstreetmarketparis

He was among the many influential figures of Paris’s artistic society during the first decades of the twentieth century, moving effortlessly between the city’s salons, theatres, cafés, and late-night soirées.
In La Belle et la Bête, Cocteau creates a dreamlike world where candelabra held by living arms emerge from the walls, corridors seem to breathe, statues observe the characters, and time itself appears suspended. The film opens with a message inviting the audience to reconnect with their inner child: “It is a little innocence that I ask of you, to bring us all good fortune. Let me say four magical words to you... Once upon a time.” by @a347___

Drawing from the salons of early twentieth-century Paris and expanding into the world of fabric fabrication, the space featured three key characters who hosted—and indeed carried—platters of shoes atop their dancing tables. Handmade in London and transported to Paris, every element of the room was embellished with a different style of pleating, yet unified through the use of a single material. by @a347___
