First walk-off hit deserved it’s own post on the grid!
Our team is no stranger to walk-offs because we all work together to make things happen & never give up! Blessed that I was the one in the position to win it this time! Every weekend on the field with this group is one for the books! Thankful for my softball sisters & the entire team of parents & coaches for the love, support & guidance! We got more work to do ! 🧨

We are so proud of you son. You told us your dream was to be a state champion and you earned just that! The work you put into making weight and training hard leading up to this tournament truly showed. Babyboy went out and wrestled great! He pinned all of his opponents, didn’t make it past the 2nd period and gave up no points!! We are so in awe of how he showed up to compete this weekend.
We also want to thank those who made this possible for Alijah! First, we have to thank @bobbysanchez_1 & @fightlikeagirl23 for taking alijah in and continuously pushing him to another level!! We are blessed to be apart of the @threshold.wrestling family!! He would not be a state champ if it wasn’t for the support and time they put into him and all the kids in the club!! Blessed to be apart of the team where he has such badass partners to kick his butt and push him everyday!! 💪🏽💪🏽 Second, we want to thank Coach Javi @cs_youth_wrestling, who asked if he could help out and be in his corner this weekend. He has always supported Alijah & the decisions we have made for him. He helped build Alijah’s wrestling foundation and we will be forever thankful for that!! Lastly, thank you to @b__moreno for making it happen. So proud of our boy for putting himself out there & playing a sport he’s never played before! He’s doing one hell of a job, especially on defense where he’s earned more playing time than some of the more experienced kids on his team because he’s aggressive & isn’t afraid to play hard, no matter how much smaller he may be than his opponents. He wants all the smoke! We told him when he started that while he works on his shot he better be a lockdown defender and he said bet 😎 of course I missed recording his first bucket but I can tell there are plenty more to come! Proud of my girl for the way she competed this last weekend in Alabama with the squad @firecrackers_moreno2014! Faced elite talent all weekend long & proved to herself she can play with the best. Keep grinding kid! The journey is the best part, the small things you do every day that show up in big moments. CA State Tourney recap! Alijah Placed 7th💪🏽🙌🏽 it’s been a roller coaster for him! He went from being at the top his first year to not placing last year and coming back this year making it to that podium!! He’s been working extremely hard not just on the technique but the mental aspect of wrestling! He’s dedicated and committed and we’re so proud of him! He couldn’t have done it without all of his coaches and his amazing partners whooping his butt on the daily!! Wishing our babygirl, our first born, and the one who made me a mommy a very Happy 12th Birthday today!
