Proud of my girl for the way she competed this last weekend in Alabama with the squad @firecrackers_moreno2014! Faced elite talent all weekend long & proved to herself she can play with the best. Keep grinding kid! The journey is the best part, the small things you do every day that show up in big moments. Wishing our babygirl, our first born, and the one who made me a mommy a very Happy 12th Birthday today! Took a trip down memory lane realizing she’s closer to leaving home and spreading her wings than the day we brought her home. So bittersweet! So proud to be her mom! A truly amazing experience last night at the Natasha Watley Foundation’s Cocktails and Kicks event! Being amongst softball legends was inspiring and being awarded the Romero Family Scholarship in honor of Coach Mike was unforgettable! Thank you to the Romero’s for selecting me and to the @nwfoundation for an extraordinary evening! 🥇 Weekend Recap! 🥇
Another great weekend on the diamond for me and my squad @firecrackers_moreno2014 ! We took home the ship in the TCS Think Pink Tournament! I had a good weekend at the plate and had a lot of action at 3b! Happy to have made all my plays to back up our pitchers! Proud of our team and the way we compete! && just like that, 10u is done! Proud of my team for finishing in 3rd place at PGF this week and for all of our accomplishments thus far. We’ve developed such a close bond that carries over onto the field and I’m excited to see all that we do this next season together in 12’s! While I didn’t have my best offensive showing this week, I know that with the support of my family, coaches & teammates that I’ll bounce back! There’s always work to do and one week doesn’t define what I’ve accomplished thus far. Thank you to everyone who’s been in my corner thus far, you’ve made my 10u experience that much better!
