These ballers played great softball this weekend and took down second year teams to win the whole thing! Their defense was on point, pitching was lights out & their bats were on fire! These girls dug deep and pulled off a complete team win! They battled against some of the best teams in the division & showed up for each other in big ways! Business. Handled. 🧨

Girls came out to Texas & balled out going 7-1 overall & winning the PGF Super Select Southwest Championship! Thank you to PGF for a great tournament experience!

Above the wins/losses/stats, I’m most proud of the how they competed all weekend long against great competition, while battling illness, ER visits & crazy Texas weather. They were challenged & rose to the occasion, pulling together and winning when it mattered most to them! We came for the experience & they got exactly that. From the invaluable Texas A&M softball visit, the long days at the field full of unexpected weather & the hotel bonding, we won’t forget this trip!

Lastly, shout out our parent/family squad for their commitment to all of our girls and this trip! I will never get tired of watching these girls play ball. They are truly something special and make us proud every single time they step on the field. They set a goal to make the gold bracket and compete against tough competition and did just that! The only first year team in the gold bracket, they had their work cut out for them but they never back down. They played high level softball and beat elite second year teams to earn a top 8 finish!

Beyond the wins it’s about the respect they’re earning inch by inch. The fact that these elite second year teams come up to us and give our girls their flowers, telling us they’ve been watching/following us and that we live up to the hype means a lot to us. These girls are fueled by high expectations and a desire to compete at the highest level! Let’s keep stacking our reps in preparation for Pgf ladies!! 🧨

SWEET. HOME. ALABAMA.
Team went out to Alabama and competed against the top 48 teams in the COUNTRY and came out with a 3rd place finish!! We had been looking forward to this tournament & the opportunity to compete against the best teams in the nation and see where we stack up & we proved that we are a TOP TEAM! They represented California well! We are so proud of their resilience and the fact that they never quit! They didn’t let bad calls, bad blues or even a tornado warning/rain delay stop them! They have continued to show up in big games/tournaments and proven themselves time and time again!
