A freshman, during Opening Kickoff, went for 86yds and marked his FIRST Varsity Touchdown last night!!! I could not be MORE proud of you kid!
The way I lost it when I knew you were making it to the end zone… added by the way I saw your teammates/ coaches go crazy for you when they knew you were going all the way… and then hearing and looking around me and witnessing all the fans standing and screaming for you as you took it to the house… a moment that we’ll never forget!!
Last night though, the entire team really came together to pull off a WIN against Sullivan for the first time in 7yrs!!
What a night. What a game. What a team. What a memory.
And Kenzo, this is only the beginning!!! 🏈🥹❤️

And how amazing that this moment was captured for him by several people- including their local news station, our local newspaper, and the eye in the sky- to rewatch, in several angles anytime you EVER start to doubt yourself!

Ughhh. Ok let me preface this post by saying a few things. This is a post I’ve been dreading… I’ve been delaying this post… as well as NOT looking at any of Khaliya’s “senior” anything posts with the sad audios she’s attaching… and the baby pics that I truly remember so vividly…because holy sobbing spiral. 😭🥹😭
My children are accepting that this school year I’ll be in a perpetual state of emotional fragility due to the circumstances… so just know if/when you see me and I am crying or unwell that not ALL of my tears are sad, mourning the beginning of the end type of tears… there are just as many extremely proud, and elated for what’s to come type of tears too. 🥹🥴😅
Ok ok now then… here we go…

Harlow Skye is in 3rd Grade and officially done with the Primary School and now in the Intermediate School.
Kenzo Cruz is officially a Freshman and in Highschool with his big sister for the first time ever.
And Khaliya Amaya is a SENIOR!!!

Today this queen is 17 and it’s so surreal.
17yrs I have been lucky enough to get to be your Mom. This one right here has been through it ALL with me. She has watched me and taught me how to be a mother. We’ve grown up together and our bond is unlike no other. She makes me so proud… sometimes I really can’t believe I made this human. Like this beautiful enchanting soul is actually my child.
Easily put, to know her is to love her. She has the most genuine heart of anyone I’ve ever met.
She truly makes my life so much better simply existing.
Happy 17th Birthday to the most beautiful girl in the world!
