A little bit of everything that made the past month so special! Here’s to whatever October has waiting.🎃 👻 💀 by @a_gribble
Obsession cast!🔪🩸🧱 Got to meet Megan Lawless & Cooper Tomlinson. Had such an amazing time chatting with them! Megan and I got to talk about St Augustine and how much she loves it here. Talked with Cooper about being a filmmaker and seeing the success of the film really inspires me and he told me before I left “Don’t stop creating.” Won’t ever forget this experience. @themeganlawless @cooper_tomlinson @scaradisefl by @a_gribble

I’ve been a huge fan of Shields ever since I discovered them in 2018 with their album Life in Exile. When they broke up shortly after, I was genuinely bummed. I never got the chance to see one of my favorite bands live, and I thought that chapter was over. Then, in 2023, they came back and released “Bury Me.” I remember how excited I was that day. I immediately messaged vocalist Joe Edwards asking if he’d be interested in doing an interview, and to my surprise, he said yes! It was incredible knowing one of my favorite bands was back, and I finally had hope that I might get to see them live someday. Joe and I have stayed in touch ever since, and we even got to do another interview together before the release of their incredible album Death & Connection. Unfortunately, August 14 marked their final show. As sad as it is to see them go, this is the decision they made, and I completely respect it. Sometimes bands have to close one chapter to start another. Joe was incredibly kind enough to send me this amazing Shields care package: an embroidered shirt, a signed Death & Connection vinyl and CD, a signed Life in Exile CD and one that was still brand new! I genuinely can’t thank Joe and the rest of Shields enough for everything, the music, the interviews, the conversations, and the kindness they’ve shown me over the years. I’m going to miss this band so much. But I’m also excited to see where every member goes next. They’ve left behind some incredible music and memories, and I’ll always be grateful that I got to be a small part of their journey. Thank you, Shields. by @a_gribble

There’s been a lot of heaviness in the world lately, and it’s easy to get caught up in it. But I’ve learned that finding joy in the little moments, and holding onto the people who make life brighter is what makes it all worthwhile. Looking back at these past few months, I feel incredibly grateful for the experiences I’ve had, the places I’ve been, and especially the amazing people I’ve met along the way. None of it is something I take for granted. Here’s to making memories, and finding the good whenever we can! by @a_gribble
This week on Deep Cuts, I had the pleasure of sitting down with Evan Draper! Guitarist for Florida metalcore band Grieve and cinematographer behind the upcoming horror film It Ends. Which I had the chance to see and it’s amazing! We talked about Grieve’s newest releases, “It Followed Me Home” and their cover of Flyleaf’s “I’m So Sick,” as well as Evan’s journey balancing music and filmmaking. We also dove into It Ends, one of the year’s most anticipated horror films (100% on rotten tomatoes btw), hitting theaters August 21 through Neon. It was an awesome conversation about creativity, horror, heavy music, and chasing your passion. Huge thanks to Evan for taking the time to come on the show! Interview releases on Monday July 6 everywhere. by @a_gribble
Life is worth living guys… so many cool concerts to go to! by @a_gribble
Back in August, I interviewed a band I discovered online and had the honor of giving them their very first interview. We had an amazing conversation, stayed in touch afterward, and nine months later I finally got to meet them in person and see them absolutely tear it up live in Brooklyn! That band is Sevalynn. Remember that name. They just released their debut album last month, and it’s phenomenal. Beyond the incredible music, they’re some of the kindest, most genuine people you’ll ever meet. Their support and friendship over the past year have meant a lot to me, and seeing them live was such a special experience. Thank you, Sevalynn, for your kindness, your support, and for putting on one hell of a show. I can’t wait to see what comes next! I also love the photos of us together I look like I’m in the band💀shout out to Sir Echo also they are amazing live and so cool! by @a_gribble
Hello everyone. Next guest on Deep Cuts… the legendary Elena Siegman! From iconic video game music in Call of Duty Zombies to storytelling, creativity, and everything in between. This was an incredible conversation and I’m so honored to talk with her. Huge thank you to Elena for coming on the show! Interview drops this Monday. Stay tuned. 🎙️🔥 by @a_gribble
