Ageing well is about so much more than one thing.

We’re starting a new Ageing Well series exploring everything that can support us as we age, from nutrition and lifestyle to skincare and professional treatments.

Treatments like this are optional and great addition when it comes to ageing well, but wow… @jasminavicoskin really is a wizard when it comes to skin.

In this first video, I experience a bespoke skin rejuvenation treatment combining **Vico Elevate radiofrequency and electrical muscle stimulation**, followed by the **Vico Ultra MD thulium laser**.

The treatment was designed to target melasma, which first appeared during my first pregnancy 22 years ago and has bothered me ever since (lol), as well as improve skin texture, reduce the appearance of pores and support collagen remodelling for firmer, healthier-looking skin.

Plant-based stem cell technology was also incorporated to support skin repair and regeneration. Following the treatment, VicoSkin Screen Star and SPF 50 were applied to hydrate, protect and support the skin’s recovery.

Results can continue to develop over the following weeks, with a course of three to six treatments, usually spaced four weeks apart, commonly recommended depending on the individual.

Professional treatments are only one part of the picture. Alongside skincare and the treatments we choose, our Manifesto Beauty Vitamin Gummies can become a simple and enjoyable daily ritual, supporting beauty from within as part of a consistent approach to ageing well.

I will say, the cocktail of emotions is very potent. One minute you’re picking them off a tree they got stuck on, or capturing frogs in the garden, or baking a volcano cake together (don’t ask), or worrying by their bedside when they have a fever….the next minute they are fully grown adult, clutching a shiny new diploma in Law & Politics and thinking about the vastness of an entire life ahead. Happy, sad, excited, joyful, proud…so proud of all the things you overcame and all the hard work that went into getting this far. Tried a cryo-sauna for the first time and omg the endorphin rush was AMAZING!! That tank cools you down to -172C (!) for 3 whole minutes but it’s totally doable and you feel great afterwards. It lifted my headache straightaway and the various niggles in my body too.
