Celebrating our 18th wedding anniversary after what has been the most challenging year of our lives had us wanting to test ourselves and see if we still have it! We tend to hike and get ourselves to gorgeous viewpoints for big events (engagement, gender reveal, anniversaries, etc.). Cervidae Peak was humbling, and we finished the day riding bikes downtown to dinner. Looking forward to many more adventurous years with my best friend.
P.S. I added this horribly cheesy song because every anniversary Nathaniel kicks it off on Alexa all throughout the day as I enter different rooms around the house, knowing that I find it like nails on a chalkboard. Tradition! taken in Cervidae Peak by @a_pease13

It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of my brother, Jeremy Saylor. After many years marked with struggle, though we are deeply heartbroken, my family and I take solace in trusting he is now at peace, healed and whole. We imagine he is surfing the most perfect waves and snowboarding beautiful mountains in heaven, surrounded by God’s loving embrace. We will miss the days when he would tell us about his past adventures, some of them mischievous and always accompanied by his trademark chuckle. Mental illness is incredibly cruel. It’s a thief, touching not only those who suffer, but all who love them. But faith reminds us that God restores what is broken, and we believe he is now free from struggle and pain, surrounded by God’s grace and love. by @a_pease13

Happy Thanksgiving! Started with a 5K turkey trot, witnessed a real turkey trot, sweet family discussion of things we were thankful for big and small, yummy food and Rummikub. by @a_pease13

This hysterical girl of mine sure does keep me on my toes. She may throw our dishes away and make me go on scavenger hunts for just about everything I might need to use on any given day, but when it comes to her birthday or Christmas list I can expect a very prompt and colorful PowerPoint presentation to keep me focused and on track. 😂 Love her! by @a_pease13

Halloween 2025: Elijah, Nathaniel and I did an accident prone theme with Nathaniel’s brain surgery and my neck surgery worked in. Thankfully Elijah’s injuries were completely made up (knock on wood!) but, of course, we had to incorporate his love of scooters. Jenna was Padme Amidala from Star Wars. by @a_pease13

Another great week at @stronger_skatepark. Thank you Papa and Grandma for taking him there. It doesn’t get any better for him! It’s a phenomenal place with the most wonderful staff and we’ll be trekking back for years to come! by @a_pease13

Well, thank goodness Banff was completely off the charts because Glacier was, unfortunately, a bit of a bust weather-wise for the second time for us. It rained and rained and the views were … super mysterious. How’s that for positivity? We’ll get it right next time! We did get a few okay-ish pics (will post later), but we decided the best way to laugh and have some fun would be to take as many bad pictures as we could! by @a_pease13

Rest day! Before leaving Banff and heading to Glacier, we scheduled a nice rest day. We slept in, stayed in Canmore, got in a good workout, went to a coffee shop, took Eli to the Canmore skate park where he made a friend who was equally as talented on the scooter as he was so they bonded immediately, had lunch downtown and walked around the shops, took Eli swimming (our condo had a great pool, water slide and hot tub), and then Nathaniel and I stepped out for a date night. Ready to take on Glacier and part 2 of our trip! taken in Canmore, Alberta by @a_pease13

After our Athabasca Glacier adventure, we drove the Icefields Parkway from Jasper back to Canmore stopping at as many lakes, waterfalls, and glacier viewpoints as possible. A few of our favorites were Mistaya Canyon (I could have sat there all day), the Waterfowl lakes, Peyto Lake (the bluest blue you have ever seen), and bow lake. It was an absolutely stunning day! taken in Icefields Parkway, Banff, Alberta, Canada by @a_pease13
